Addendum 81 — Repeated Subordinate Closure Occurs Before Quantum Interference
Atmospheric Deprojection, Recursive Replacement, and the Double-Slit Distribution
Abstract
Quantum interference is conventionally represented by the coherent addition of complex amplitudes,
\[ \psi=\psi_a+\psi_b, \]
followed by the realization measure
\[|\psi|^2\]
That representation is extraordinarily successful.
R2D asks what physical architecture must exist before such a phase representation is available.
The answer begins with a relation already directly visible in ordinary thermodynamics.
An atmosphere possesses a boundary-defined radial possibility and occupancy structure. A subordinate molecule repeatedly moves through that structure. Over sufficiently many recurrent realizations, the realized occupancy of one molecule can reproduce the larger atmospheric distribution.
The molecule does not create that distribution.
It realizes it.
Thus:
enclosing organization → subordinate recurrence → enclosing occupancy readout.
The atmospheric example is not mysterious because the subordinate realizer and the enclosing distribution can both be made readable.
Quantum interference has the same recursive architecture on the opposite side of a readability horizon.
At the quantum boundary, subordinate geometric state identity has already undergone recursive replacement. The subordinate realization can continue to recur, but it cannot be jointly read as the same persistent spatial object together with the enclosing quantum distribution.
Addendum 3 established the quantum readability condition:
\[ (\lambda,\nu)_Q=(\mathrm{unreadable},\mathrm{readable}). \]
What survives is recurrence.
Repeated subordinate closure can therefore realize a slower enclosing quantum relation even though the subordinate realizing trajectory is no longer available as a physical read.
The recursive clock gives
\[ f_Q=\rho_{Q|s}f_s,\qquad0<\rho_{Q|s}<1, \]
so subordinate realization is faster than the enclosing quantum recurrence:
\[ f_s>f_Q\]
In a strongly separated regime,
\[\frac{f_s}{f_Q}=\frac{1}{\rho_{Q\mid s}}\gg1\]
Thus one readable enclosing occurrence can be recursively realized through many faster subordinate closures.
The double-slit apparatus constrains the compatible enclosing relation.
If the slit alternatives do not become separately readable outcomes, their subordinate distinction does not survive recursive replacement as a path label.
The surviving relation is recurrent.
Only then is it represented through phase.
Thus the logical order is
enclosing compatibility→repeated subordinate closure→recursive replacement→coherent recurrence→phase representation→detector occupancy.
The conventional quantum law follows downstream.
For two unresolved recurrence contributions,
\[\psi_a(x)=A_a(x)e^{i\phi_a(x)}\]
\[\psi_b(x)=A_b(x)e^{i\phi_b(x)}\]
and
\[\psi_Q(x)=\psi_a(x)+\psi_b(x)\]
The detector realization measure is then
\[ \mu_D(x)=|\psi_Q(x)|^2, \]
giving
\[ \mu_D(x)=|\psi_a|^2+|\psi_b|^2+2A_aA_b\cos(\phi_b-\phi_a). \]
The interference term is therefore not taken as primitive evidence that one persistent particle follows two classical trajectories.
It is the phase-coordinate read of an enclosing recurrence relation whose subordinate realizing geometry is no longer jointly readable.
Which-path measurement changes the architecture.
If an enclosing marker boundary makes the alternatives distinguishable,
\[ M_a\ne M_b, \]
the count domain changes.
The conventional joint representation becomes
\[ |\Psi(x)\rangle=\psi_a(x)|M_a\rangle+\psi_b(x)|M_b\rangle, \]
and the local detector distribution is
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_a|^2+|\psi_b|^2+2\operatorname{Re}\!\left[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle\psi_a^*\psi_b\right]\]
The overlap
\[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle\]
then quantifies how completely the enclosing marker boundary retains the subordinate distinction.
Interference survives when the distinction remains unresolved.
It disappears locally when the distinction becomes fully readable.
The central R2D statement is:
quantum interference is the recurrence-side read of an enclosing distribution realized through faster subordinate closure after subordinate geometric state identity has crossed the readability horizon. The same recursive architecture is directly deprojectable in an atmosphere, where one molecule can repeatedly realize the larger radial occupancy landscape. In the quantum case the subordinate realizer is not jointly readable, while coherent recurrence survives and is represented through phase. The wavefunction therefore describes the surviving recurrence relation; the detector particle is a completed enclosing count. Neither needs to be projected backward as a primitive hidden trajectory.
And hence:
repeated subordinate closure occurs before quantum interference.
1. Begin With an Ordinary Atmosphere
Consider an atmospheric boundary
\[ B_A\]
Let
\[ i\]
index radial or height macrostates within that boundary.
The atmosphere defines a physically realized occupancy landscape
\[\{\mu_{A,i}\}\]
2. The Atmospheric Distribution Belongs to the Atmospheric Boundary
The distribution is not primitively assigned to one oxygen molecule.
It describes the compatible realization of the atmosphere as a whole.
Thus:
\[ B_A\]
3. A Molecule Is a Subordinate Realizer
Now descend to a subordinate molecular boundary
\[ B_m\]
At that boundary, an individual molecule possesses readable local motion.
It may rise, fall, collide, reverse, and recur through many atmospheric radial states.
4. One Molecule Can Repeatedly Realize the Larger Distribution
Let
\[ n_i(N_C)\]
be the number of realized visits of one molecule to radial state i over NC sufficiently mixing recurrent realizations.
Define its realized occupancy fraction
\[\widetilde\mu_i(N_C)=\frac{n_i(N_C)}{\sum_j n_j(N_C)}\]
Under the usual long-run statistical conditions,
\[\widetilde\mu_i(N_C)\to\mu_{A,i}\]
5. This Does Not Mean the Molecule Created the Atmospheric Landscape
The causal order is not
molecular wandering → atmospheric distribution.
R2D reverses the attribution:
atmospheric compatibility → molecular realization.
6. The Time Average Reveals the Landscape
Repeated molecular realization can reproduce the enclosing occupancy relation.
The time average is therefore evidence of recursive realization.
It is not the primitive source of the distribution.
7. The Atmospheric Example Is Deprojectable
The atmosphere is unusually useful because both levels can be observed.
At BA , one reads:
radial occupancy.
At Bm , one can in principle read:
molecular trajectory and recurrence.
8. Both Sides of the Recursion Are Therefore Comparatively Accessible
The atmosphere lies near the jointly readable thermodynamic regime:
\[(\lambda,\nu)=(R,R)\]
Spatial distinction and subordinate recurrence can both remain physically accessible.
9. The Atmosphere Exposes the Recursive Clock
Subordinate molecular motion can be extremely rapid.
The enclosing atmospheric distribution can remain nearly stationary over the same physical interval.
Thus:
\[ f_m\gg f_A\]
for an appropriate comparison of native recurrence scales.
10. Faster Subordinate Realization Does Not Cause the Enclosing Relation
The molecule is necessary for local realization.
It does not independently determine the atmospheric possibility landscape.
This is the same R2D turbine ordering seen in other thermodynamic systems:
enclosing organization → subordinate recurrence → enclosing readout.
11. Probability Is a Later Normalization
Once realized occupancies are counted, they may be normalized.
Thus:
possible count → realized occupancy → normalized probability.
12. The Atmospheric Projection Error Is to Assign the Landscape Downward
Because one molecule can reproduce the distribution over time, it is tempting to say:
the molecule possesses the probability distribution.
R2D instead says:
the atmospheric boundary defines the distribution.
The molecule repeatedly realizes it.
13. Quantum Interference Repeats the Same Attribution Problem
In a double-slit experiment, repeated localized detector events build an extended distribution.
Conventional language then asks how each individual particle carried or traversed that distribution.
R2D asks first whether the distribution has again been projected downward onto the counted object.
14. Define the Quantum Hierarchy
Let
\[ B_s\]
denote the relevant subordinate realization boundary,
\[ B_Q\]
the coherent quantum/apparatus boundary,
and
\[ B_D\]
the detector boundary.
15. The Subordinate State Belongs to Bs
At Bs , the subordinate closure possesses its own state distinctions.
Those distinctions are defined at that boundary.
They are not automatically the state distinctions of BQ .
16. Recursive Replacement Occurs Before the Quantum Read
When the count boundary changes,
\[ B_s\to B_Q\]
the subordinate state identity is replaced.
Thus:
subordinate state≠quantum-boundary state.
18. Addendum 3 Defines the Quantum Readability Condition
At the quantum horizon,
\[\lambda_s\to U\]
while
\[\nu_Q\to R\]
The subordinate continuous geometry is not jointly readable.
Recurrence remains readable.
19. The Missing Geometry Has Not Been Destroyed
Unreadability is not nonrealization.
Subordinate closure may continue at its own boundary.
What is lost is its direct readability as the same spatial state at the enclosing quantum boundary.
20. The Quantum Mystery Therefore Begins With One-Sided Readability
In the atmosphere one can observe both:
subordinate realizer + enclosing distribution.
At the quantum boundary one reads:
enclosing recurrence/distribution,
without jointly recovering the subordinate geometric realization.
21. The Recursive Clock Applies Before Quantum Phase
Let
\[\rho_{Q\mid s}=\frac{N_\chi^{(Q)}}{N_C^{(s)}}\]
where \(N_C^{(s)}\) counts subordinate closures associated with one enclosing occurrence and \(N_\chi^{(Q)}\) counts the enclosing occurrence.
For a nontrivial recursive relation,
\[0<\rho_{Q\mid s}<1\]
22. For One Enclosing Quantum Occurrence
If
\[ N_\chi^{(Q)}=1\]
then the subordinate realization count is schematically
\[ N_C^{(s\mid Q)}\sim\frac{1}{\rho_{Q\mid s}}\]
23. A Strongly Separated Regime Contains Many Subordinate Closures
When
\[\rho_{Q\mid s}\ll1\]
then
\[ N_C^{(s\mid Q)}\gg1\]
Thus one readable enclosing quantum occurrence can be realized through many subordinate closures.
24. Physical Clock Calibration Gives the Same Ordering
When both recurrence classes acquire physical frequency reads,
\[ f_Q=\rho_{Q\mid s}f_s\]
Hence:
\[ f_s=\frac{f_Q}{\rho_{Q\mid s}}\]
25. Therefore
\[ f_s>f_Q\]
And for strong scale separation,
\[ f_s\gg f_Q\]
26. This Is the Direct Atmospheric Parallel
Atmosphere:
fast molecular recurrence → slow atmospheric organization.
Double slit:
fast subordinate closure → slow enclosing quantum occurrence.
27. The Difference Is Readability
Atmosphere:
subordinate realization deprojectable.
Quantum:
subordinate realization below the readability horizon.
28. The Subordinate Quantum Realizer Should Not Be Named Prematurely
R2D does not require that the subordinate realizer be:
- a hidden photon;
• a hidden electron; - a miniature wave; - or a classical corpuscle following a concealed path.
It belongs to the subordinate boundary.
Its state identity need not survive recursive replacement.
29. The Particle Read Belongs to the Enclosing Completed Occurrence
A localized detector event is an enclosing readable count.
Schematically:
\[ N_D\to N_D+1\]
That is the particle-side read.
30. The Particle Count Need Not Identify the Subordinate Realizer
Therefore:
detected particle count≠persistent subordinate trajectory.
Projecting the detector object backward through recursive replacement is an EP projection error.
31. This Reframes Single-Particle Interference
The conventional puzzle asks:
How can one particle interfere with itself?
R2D first rejects the assumption that the detected particle count is the primitive subordinate object that traversed the entire closure geometry.
32. One Detector Count Can Follow Many Subordinate Closures
The relevant architecture is:
(s∣Q)
\[ N_C\gg1\]
followed by one enclosing completed read.
Thus:
many subordinate closures → one enclosing quantum occurrence.
33. Repeated Detector Occurrences Are a Second Count
Now repeat the entire experiment.
Let
\[ N_D\]
be the number of detector occurrences.
These are not the same as the subordinate closure count
\[ N_C^{(s\mid Q)}\]
34. Detector Occupancy Builds the Experimental Pattern
Let
\[ c_D(x;N_D)\]
be the number of detector realizations in detector macrostate x.
Then the experimentally realized distribution approaches
\[\frac{c_D(x;N_D)}{N_D}\to\mu_D(x)\]
35. The Clicks Do Not Create the Compatibility Landscape
Just as molecular visits do not create the atmospheric distribution, repeated detector clicks do not primitively create
\[\mu_D(x)\]
For a fixed apparatus boundary, they realize it.
36. The Two Slits Define the Enclosing Compatibility Relation
Let the two apertures be
\[ a\]
and
\[ b\]
They alter which subordinate closures are compatible with an eventual detector realization.
37. The Slits Need Not Define Two Primitive Particle Paths
R2D does not begin with:
particle used path a
or
particle used path b.
It begins with the full boundary condition.
38. Define Two Compatible Closure Families
For detector outcome x, write schematically
\[\mathcal C_a(x)\]
and
\[\mathcal C_b(x)\]
for subordinate closure contributions compatible with the two-aperture boundary.
39. Before Which-Path Readout They Belong to One Coherent Enclosing Relation
If no physical boundary makes
\[ a\]
and
\[ b\]
distinct realized outcomes before detector realization, they remain unresolved within the enclosing quantum relation.
40. The Enclosing Relation Is Therefore Prior to Path Assignment
The ordering is:
two-slit boundary → compatible closure structure → enclosing recurrence.
41. Recurrence Is What Survives the Readability Horizon
The subordinate geometrical sequence has been recursively replaced.
Its recurrent relation remains readable.
That is the quantum-side projection.
42. Phase Appears Only Now
Addendum 3 established:
closure → recurrence → ϕ.
Thus phase is a coordinate representation of the surviving recurrence.
It is not its primitive cause.
43. Represent the Two Recurrence Contributions
Write
\[\psi_a(x)=A_a(x)e^{i\phi_a(x)}\]
and
\[\psi_b(x)=A_b(x)e^{i\phi_b(x)}\]
44. The Coherent Quantum Representation Is
\[\psi_Q(x)=\psi_a(x)+\psi_b(x)\]
This is the projected mathematical representation of one unresolved enclosing recurrence relation.
45. Normalized Realization Comes After Coherent Combination
Under the conventional quantum realization map,
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_Q(x)|^2\]
Thus:
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_a(x)+\psi_b(x)|^2\]
46. Expanding Gives the Interference Law
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_a|^2+|\psi_b|^2+2\operatorname{Re}(\psi_a^*\psi_b)\]
Equivalently,
\[\mu_D(x)=A_a^2+A_b^2+2A_aA_b\cos(\phi_b-\phi_a)\]
47. The Cross Term Reads Relative Recurrence
The term
2Aa Ab cos (ϕb − ϕa )
depends on the relative phase of the two recurrent contributions.
R2D therefore reads it as a downstream representation of preserved relative closure order.
48. Phase Does Not Replace the R2D Explanation
The logical order is not
complex amplitude → physical interference.
It is
compatible recursive closure → coherent recurrence → phase representation → interference law.
49. The Atmosphere Explains Why Repeated Realization Is Not Strange
A single subordinate realizer can repeatedly occupy many states belonging to an enclosing distribution.
That is ordinary statistical physics when the subordinate level can be observed.
50. Quantum Mechanics Becomes Strange Because the Subordinate Side Is Missing
At the quantum horizon, the analog of the molecular realization is no longer jointly readable.
The observer sees the enclosing distribution and completed counts without directly recovering the subordinate sequence.
51. The Wave Read Is Therefore Not a Substance Inside the Particle
The wave read belongs to the surviving recurrence relation.
The particle read belongs to completed enclosing occurrence count.
Thus:
wave≠extended substance carried inside particle.
52. Wave and Particle Are Complementary Reads of Recursive Realization
Schematically:
recurrence → wave/phase read,
while
completed occurrence → particle/count read.
53. Repeated Closure Alone Does Not Explain Fringes
The atmosphere also contains rapid subordinate recurrence.
Yet it does not ordinarily display a double-slit interference pattern.
Therefore another distinction is required.
54. The Atmosphere Does Not Preserve the Relevant Recurrence Order as Its Primary Read
Molecular collisions and thermal realization permit subordinate geometry to remain deprojectable while relative cyclic recurrence is not retained as the organizing macroscopic coordinate.
55. The Quantum Horizon Preserves the Opposite Side
In the quantum regime,
\[\lambda_s\to U\]
while
\[\nu_Q\to R\]
Thus ordered recurrence survives after subordinate path geometry does not.
56. This Is Why Phase Becomes Physically Consequential
Relative closure position is retained in the enclosing recurrence read.
Its physical cyclic representation is phase.
The detector occupancy therefore depends on relative phase.
57. The Atmospheric and Interference Distributions Are Structurally Parallel but Not Identical
Atmosphere:
fast recurrence + readable subordinate geometry → ordinary occupancy profile.
Quantum:
fast recurrence+unreadable subordinate geometry+preserved recurrence order→interference occupancy profile.
58. Interference Changes Detector Occupancy
Let
\[ W_{D,x}\]
denote the native multiplicity of detector macrostate x.
Let
\[ c_{D,x}\]
denote its realized occupancy.
59. The Interference Pattern Does Not Create Native Detector Multiplicity
Changing relative phase changes
\[ c_{D,x}\]
not primitively
\[ W_{D,x}\]
60. Therefore
interference = structured occupancy realization,
not
creation of a new native multiplicity landscape.
61. Which-Path Measurement Changes the Count Domain
Now introduce a physical marker capable of retaining the distinction between slit alternatives.
Let its readable states be
\[ M_a\]
and
\[ M_b\]
62. The New Enclosing Boundary Is Different
Without marker readability:
\[ B_Q\]
With readable marker:
\[ B_{Q+M}\]
The experiment now defines a different count domain.
63. The Subordinate Alternative Has Become an Enclosing Distinction
Before marking,
\[ a\]
and
\[ b\]
are unresolved alternatives within the coherent relation.
After marking,
\[ M_a\ne M_b\]
makes that difference readable at an enclosing boundary.
64. This Is Not Merely Passive Observation
The apparatus does not reveal a pre-existing path without changing the boundary architecture.
It creates a physical distinction that did not previously survive as an enclosing readable state.
65. The Conventional Quantum Representation Becomes
\[|\Psi(x)\rangle=\psi_a(x)|M_a\rangle+\psi_b(x)|M_b\rangle\]
66. The Detector-Only Read Contains the Marker Overlap
The local detector realization measure is
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_a|^2+|\psi_b|^2+2\operatorname{Re}\!\left[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle\psi_a^*\psi_b\right]\]
67. Marker Overlap Quantifies Boundary-Relative Distinguishability
If
\[|M_a\rangle=|M_b\rangle\]
then
\[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle=1\]
The enclosing boundary does not retain the path distinction.
68. Full Coherence Is Then Recovered
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_a+\psi_b|^2\]
The full interference term remains.
69. Perfect Path Readability Gives Orthogonal Marker States
If
\[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle=0\]
then the alternatives are fully distinguishable in the enlarged boundary.
70. The Local Cross Term Vanishes
Then:
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_a|^2+|\psi_b|^2\]
The screen no longer reads interference.
71. Interference Loss Is Therefore Boundary-Relative
The local detector has not discovered which path a persistent hidden particle always possessed.
The experimental boundary has been changed so that the subordinate distinction now survives as readable structure.
72. Partial Distinguishability Gives Partial Interference
When
\[0<|\langle M_a|M_b\rangle|<1\]
the distinction is only partially retained.
The interference term is correspondingly reduced.
73. This Makes Distinguishability Quantitative
For an ideal equal-intensity two-path system,
\[\mathcal V=|\langle M_a|M_b\rangle|\]
for fringe visibility.
For pure marker states, one may write
\[\mathcal D=\sqrt{1-|\langle M_a|M_b\rangle|^2}\]
Thus:
\[\mathcal D^2+\mathcal V^2=1\]
74. The Conventional Complementarity Relation Fits the R2D Boundary Architecture
Greater readable path distinction corresponds to lower readable local interference.
This is exactly what R2D predicts if the two reads compete for boundary ownership of the same recursive relation.
75. Coherence Need Not Be Destroyed Globally
Even when
\[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle=0\]
the enlarged joint state can remain coherent.
Thus:
loss of local interference≠destruction of all recurrence relation.
76. Coherence Is Boundary Relative
A relation may be unreadable at the detector-only boundary while remaining readable in a larger joint boundary.
Thus:
coherence at BQ+M
can coexist with
no interference at BD .
77. Environmental Decoherence Has the Same Architecture
Let environmental record states be
\[|E_a\rangle,\quad|E_b\rangle\]
The local cross term is weighted by
\[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle\]
78. As the Environment Retains the Distinction
\[\langle E_a|E_b\rangle\to0\]
local interference disappears.
79. Decoherence Is Therefore Readable Distinction in an Enlarged Boundary
R2D interprets decoherence as the recursive relation becoming distributed across a larger count domain in which alternatives have become distinguishable.
It need not be interpreted as mysterious destruction of a physical wave substance.
80. The Quantum Eraser Fits the Same Rule
Suppose the marker states are orthogonal:
\[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle=0\]
The unconditioned detector distribution contains no interference.
81. Reclassify the Marker Boundary
Define
\[|M_+\rangle=\frac{|M_a\rangle+|M_b\rangle}{\sqrt2}\]
and
\[|M_-\rangle=\frac{|M_a\rangle-|M_b\rangle}{\sqrt2}\]
82. Conditional Detector Reads Recover Interference
Conditioned on M+ ,
\[\psi_+(x)\propto\psi_a(x)+\psi_b(x)\]
Conditioned on M− ,
\[\psi_-(x)\propto\psi_a(x)-\psi_b(x)\]
83. Fringe and Antifringe Patterns Cancel in the Unconditioned Read
Thus the full detector distribution contains no visible interference even though differently classified joint subensembles do.
84. The Quantum Eraser Does Not Need to Change the Past
R2D does not begin from a primitive path that must later be erased.
It begins from boundary-relative statehood.
Changing the later classification changes which joint distinction is read.
85. Delayed Choice Does Not Require Retrocausal Path Revision
A later measurement setting can determine which enclosing correlation becomes readable without changing a primitive earlier trajectory that R2D never assigned in the first place.
86. Principle — Distribution Belongs First to the Enclosing Boundary
boundary compatibility → distribution.
Repeated subordinate realization samples that relation.
87. Principle — Repeated Subordinate Closure Realizes Enclosing Structure
enclosing organization → subordinate closure → enclosing occupancy.
88. Principle — Quantum Mystery Is a Readability Asymmetry
The atmospheric subordinate realizer can be deprojected.
The quantum subordinate realizer cannot be jointly resolved at the enclosing quantum boundary.
89. Principle — Particle Count Is Not Subordinate Trajectory
completed enclosing occurrence → particle read.
The particle count need not preserve subordinate state identity.
90. Principle — Phase Is the Coordinate of Surviving Recurrence
closure → recurrence → ϕ.
Phase does not create the closure.
91. Principle — Interference Reads Relative Recurrence Order
\[\Delta\phi=\phi_b-\phi_a\]
determines the conventional cross term after recurrent closure has been mapped into the quantum phase representation.
92. Principle — Which-Path Measurement Changes the Count Boundary
Readable path distinction is not a passive revelation of an already-defined primitive trajectory.
It is a new boundary-relative distinction.
93. Principle — Interference Is an Occupancy Read
Interference redistributes realized detector occupancy:
\[ c_{D,x}\]
It does not redefine the detector’s native multiplicity:
\[ W_{D,x}\]
94. Logical Status
Canonical R2D
States are boundary defined.
Recursive replacement changes state identity.
Enclosing organization constrains subordinate realization.
Subordinate closure can repeatedly realize a slower enclosing relation.
Thermodynamic Deprojection
In an atmosphere, sufficiently repeated molecular realization can reproduce the enclosing radial occupancy distribution.
The atmospheric landscape belongs to the atmospheric boundary.
Addendum 3
At the quantum readability horizon,
\[(\lambda,\nu)=(U,R)\]
Subordinate continuous geometry is unreadable while recurrence remains readable.
Recursive Clock
\[ f_Q=\rho_{Q\mid s}f_s,\qquad0<\rho_{Q\mid s}<1\]
Therefore:
\[ f_s>f_Q\]
R2D Interference Proposal
A coherent quantum distribution is recursively realized through faster subordinate closure whose state identity is no longer jointly readable at the quantum boundary.
Conventional Quantum Phase Projection
For two unresolved contributions,
\[\psi_Q=\psi_a+\psi_b\]
with realization measure
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_Q(x)|^2\]
Conventional Distinguishability Projection
With marker states,
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_a|^2+|\psi_b|^2+2\operatorname{Re}\!\left[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle\psi_a^*\psi_b\right]\]
Not Yet Established
This addendum does not yet derive from primitive R2D counting alone:
- the exact microscopic identity of the subordinate quantum realizer;
- the numerical recursive ratio \(\rho_{Q\mid s}\) for a double-slit experiment;
- the Hilbert-space amplitude law from Part I counting alone;
- the Born realization map from primitive closure alone;
- the exact dynamical mechanism by which every experimental apparatus establishes a readability boundary.
The stronger result is structural.
R2D supplies an architecture in which the observed quantum interference law follows after the surviving recurrent relation is mapped into the conventional phase representation.
95. Complete Interference Architecture
The apparatus defines an enclosing compatibility relation:
\[ B_Q\]
That relation constrains subordinate closure:
↓
\[\{\mathcal C_s\}\]
Many subordinate closures realize one enclosing occurrence:
\[ N_C^{(s\mid Q)}\gg1\]
Subordinate geometric state identity is recursively replaced:
↓
\[\lambda_s\to U\]
Recurrence survives:
↓
\[\nu_Q\to R\]
Cyclic recurrence acquires phase representation:
⇓
\[\psi_a+\psi_b\]
Normalized realization gives:
↓
\[|\psi_a+\psi_b|^2\]
Repeated detector occurrences produce:
↓
\[ c_D(x;N_D)\]
The interference pattern is the realized occupancy read of the enclosing coherent relation.
96. Conclusion
The double-slit experiment is usually presented as evidence that a particle somehow traverses two paths, interferes with itself, and later appears at one localized point.
R2D identifies an earlier projection error.
The localized detector object belongs to the enclosing completed occurrence.
The subordinate realization belongs to a different count boundary.
Those identities need not be the same.
The atmosphere provides the directly observable analogue.
An atmospheric boundary defines a radial possibility and occupancy landscape.
A molecule repeatedly rises, falls, collides, and returns through that landscape.
Over sufficiently many recurrences, one molecule can reproduce the larger distribution.
This is not mysterious because the subordinate realizer remains readable.
The molecule does not contain the atmospheric probability distribution.
Nor does its motion create the atmospheric landscape.
It repeatedly realizes a larger relation that already belongs to the atmospheric boundary.
Quantum interference has the same recursive ordering, but one side has crossed the readability horizon.
The subordinate closure can continue to recur.
The recursive clock predicts that subordinate realization is faster than the enclosing recurrence:
\[ f_Q=\rho_{Q\mid s}f_s,\qquad0<\rho_{Q\mid s}<1\]
Thus:
\[ f_s>f_Q\]
In a strongly separated regime, many subordinate closures can realize one enclosing quantum occurrence.
What cannot be jointly recovered is their continuous subordinate geometry.
Addendum 3 identifies this as the quantum condition:
\[(\lambda,\nu)=(U,R)\]
Subordinate distinguishability has been replaced.
Recurrence survives.
Only after that replacement does the surviving recurrence acquire its familiar phase representation.
For the two-slit boundary,
\[\psi_Q(x)=\psi_a(x)+\psi_b(x)\]
and the detector realization measure becomes
\[\mu_D(x)=|\psi_a(x)+\psi_b(x)|^2\]
The familiar interference term therefore belongs to the physical phase projection of a deeper recursively realized relation.
The wavefunction does not need to be a primitive material wave.
The detected particle does not need to be the unchanged subordinate object that carried that wave through two classical trajectories.
The wave read is the recurrence-side representation.
The particle read is completed occurrence count.
Which-path measurement makes the structure even clearer.
When the apparatus retains the distinction between alternatives,
\[ M_a\ne M_b\]
the experiment defines a new enclosing count domain.
The local interference term is then weighted by
\[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle\]
As the alternatives become more distinguishable, local interference decreases.
At perfect distinguishability,
\[\langle M_a|M_b\rangle=0\]
and the local cross term vanishes.
The result is not that observation has forced a mysterious wave to choose the path it always possessed.
A new boundary has made a previously unresolved distinction readable.
The same recursive relation is now being counted differently.
The central statement is therefore:
quantum interference is the recurrence-side physical read of an enclosing compatibility distribution realized through faster subordinate closure after subordinate geometric state identity has crossed the quantum readability horizon. The atmosphere exposes the same architecture in a deprojectable regime: repeated molecular recurrence can realize the larger radial occupancy distribution. Quantum mechanics appears mysterious because the analogous subordinate realizer cannot be jointly observed, while recurrence survives and is represented through phase. The interference pattern therefore belongs first to the enclosing coherent relation, not to a persistent particle carrying its own probability wave.
And hence:
repeated subordinate closure occurs before quantum interference.
