Addendum 61 — Peer Energy and Boundary Support Occur Before Cosmological Energy

Density Boundary Coupling, Physical Volume, and the Source Read of Cosmological Peer Organization

Abstract

Addendum 60 established that the Friedmann equation partitions one already-defined physical rate magnitude,

\[ H^2\]

into several downstream gravitational coordinates.

The matter-energy contribution is

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi G}{3c^2}\epsilon_\zeta\]

This raises the next projection problem.

What is

\[\epsilon_\zeta\]

in the R²D hierarchy?

It cannot be primitive.

Energy density already presupposes both a physical energy coordinate and a physical volume coordinate:

\[\epsilon_\zeta=\frac{E_\zeta}{V_\zeta}\]

R²D therefore requires two prior physical projections.

First, the compatible cosmological peer organization must acquire an energetic source read.

Second, its enclosing cosmological boundary must acquire a physical support-volume read.

Only their quotient is energy density.

Let

\(\pi_\zeta:\Omega_\zeta\to\mathcal M_\zeta\) be the cosmological macrostate classification.

A physical source-energy coordinate can represent cosmological macrostate i only if it factors through this classification.

Let

\[ E:\Gamma_G\to\mathbb R\]

be the physical energy read of a specified cosmological support domain.

Require

\[ E\circ\Pi_G=\bar E_\zeta\circ\pi_\zeta\]

Then macrostate i possesses the well-defined physical energy read

\[ E_{\zeta,i}=\bar E_\zeta(i)\]

This energy is not multiplicity.

It is not occupancy.

It is not peer number.

It is a later physical read of the recursively organized peer state.

The simplest source limit follows from the previously established peer-mass bridge.

For peer boundary

\[ B_{\zeta-1,\alpha}\]

let

\[\mu_\alpha\]

be its dimensionless orientation-even coupling and

\[ M_{\mathrm{cal}}\]

the physical mass calibration.

Then

\[ m_\alpha=M_{\mathrm{cal}}\mu_\alpha.\]

For a pressureless rest-mass-dominated peer ensemble whose source bookkeeping is additive,

\[ M_\zeta=\sum_\alpha m_\alpha=M_{\mathrm{cal}}\sum_\alpha\mu_\alpha.\]

and therefore

\[ E_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}=M_\zeta c^2=M_{\mathrm{cal}}c^2\sum_\alpha\mu_\alpha.\]

This is a physical limiting case.

The general relativistic source read is richer.

It can contain kinetic energy, momentum, pressure, stress, energy flux, and momentum flux in addition to rest energy.

Thus the mature relativistic source coordinate is not merely a sum of rest masses.

It is represented by the stress-energy structure of the projected peer organization.

The denominator is equally downstream.

Addendum 56 supplied the cosmological boundary-area read

\[ A_{\zeta,i}\]

For a fixed comoving FLRW support domain,

\[ A_\zeta=4\pi a^2S_k^2(\chi).\]

while the physical volume enclosed by that same comoving boundary is

\[ V_\zeta=4\pi a^3\int_0^\chi S_k^2(\chi')\,d\chi'\]

Therefore the support volume scales as

\[ V_\zeta\propto a^3.\]

whereas

\[ A_\zeta\propto a^2.\]

Eliminating a gives

\[ V_\zeta=\eta_{k,\chi}A_\zeta^{3/2}\]

where

\[\eta_{k,\chi}=\frac{1}{2\sqrt\pi}\frac{\int_0^\chi S_k^2(\chi')\,d\chi'}{S_k^3(\chi)}\]

is fixed by the chosen FLRW curvature class and comoving support domain.

In the spatially flat spherical limit,

\[ S_0(\chi)=\chi\]

so

\[\eta_{0,\chi}=\frac{1}{6\sqrt\pi}\]

recovering

\[ V=\frac43\pi r^3\]

from

\[ A=4\pi r^2\]

Thus the geometric hierarchy is

\[ B_\zeta\to A_\zeta\to V_\zeta\]

Physical volume does not define the primitive cosmological boundary.

It is the support coordinate derived from its geometric projection.

Only after both source energy and support volume have been defined does cosmological energy density appear:

\[\epsilon_{\zeta,i}=\frac{E_{\zeta,i}}{V_{\zeta,i}}\]

Using the area representation,

\[\epsilon_{\zeta,i}=\frac{E_{\zeta,i}}{\eta_{k,\chi}A_{\zeta,i}^{3/2}}\]

Energy density is therefore not a primitive amount of substance contained in pre-existing space.

It is a ratio between two physical reads of an already-defined cosmological state:

source-energy read

divided by

boundary-support read.

This relation also deprojects the matter-energy contribution to the Friedmann equation.

Define the gravitational length place value of the source energy,

\[\ell_{E,\zeta}\equiv\frac{GE_\zeta}{c^4}\]

Then

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi G}{3c^2}\frac{E_\zeta}{V_\zeta}\]

becomes

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi c^2\ell_{E,\zeta}}{3V_\zeta}\]

Or, using boundary area,

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi c^2\ell_{E,\zeta}}{3\eta_{k,\chi}A_\zeta^{3/2}}\]

The conventional Friedmann source term can therefore be read as

gravitational place value of peer energy ÷ physical support of the enclosing boundary.

In the flat spherical limit,

\[ V=\frac43\pi r^3\]

so

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{2c^2\ell_E}{r^3}\]

If

\[ E=Mc^2\]

then

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{2GM}{r^3}\]

Thus the standard matter contribution is recovered from source-energy place value divided by boundary support.

The familiar cosmological dilution laws also become downstream consequences.

For a fixed comoving pressureless peer population with constant physical rest-energy read,

\[ E_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}=\text{constant}\]

Since

\[ V_\zeta\propto a^3.\]

we obtain

\[\epsilon_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}\propto a^{-3}\]

Or, because

\[ A_\zeta\propto a^2.\],

\[\epsilon_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}\propto A_\zeta^{-3/2}\]

The density decreases not because primitive peer count disappears but because a conserved physical source read occupies a larger projected support volume.

For a general homogeneous adiabatic source, conventional physical work gives

\[ dE_\zeta=-p_\zeta\,dV_\zeta.\]

where lower-case

\[ p_\zeta\]

is physical pressure.

It must not be confused with R²D possibility

\[ P_\zeta\]

Using

\[ E_\zeta=\epsilon_\zeta V_\zeta\]

one obtains

\[ V_\zeta\,d\epsilon_\zeta+(\epsilon_\zeta+p_\zeta)\,dV_\zeta=0\]

or

\[ d\epsilon_\zeta+(\epsilon_\zeta+p_\zeta)\,d\ln V_\zeta=0\]

Because

\[ V_\zeta\propto A_\zeta^{3/2}\]

\[ d\ln V_\zeta=\frac32d\ln A_\zeta\]

Therefore,

\[ d\epsilon_\zeta+\frac32(\epsilon_\zeta+p_\zeta)\,d\ln A_\zeta=0\]

Once physical clock calibration supplies

\[ H=\frac12\frac{d\ln A_\zeta}{dt}\]

the conventional continuity equation follows:

\[\dot\epsilon_\zeta+3H(\epsilon_\zeta+p_\zeta)=0\]

Thus cosmological source continuity can be read as the physical compatibility between changing peer- energy content and changing boundary support.

It does not establish primitive bottom-up causality.

The central statement is therefore:

cosmological energy density is not a primitive amount of substance distributed through pre-existing

And hence:

peer energy and boundary support occur before cosmological energy density.

1. The Friedmann Energy Term Contains a Derived Quantity

Addendum 60 isolated

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi G}{3c^2}\epsilon_\zeta\]

The quantity

\[\epsilon_\zeta\]

is conventionally called energy density.

But density is already a ratio.

Therefore it cannot occupy the first causal level of an R²D derivation.

2. Energy Density Requires Energy

By definition,

\[\epsilon_\zeta=\frac{E_\zeta}{V_\zeta}\]

Thus a source-energy coordinate must exist before its density can be formed.

3. Energy Density Also Requires Physical Support

The denominator

\[ V\zeta\]

is a physical volume.

Therefore density also presupposes a geometric support coordinate.

The numerator and denominator have different projection origins.

4. The Primitive Cosmological State Exists Before Either

The R²D cosmological macrostate is defined through

\[\pi_\zeta:\Omega_\zeta\to\mathcal M_\zeta.\]

This state architecture exists before

\[ E,\quad V,\quad\epsilon\]

5. Define a Source-Energy Physical Read

Let

\[ E:\Gamma_G\to\mathbb R\]

assign physical source energy to a projected cosmological state within a specified support domain.

This is a physical projection.

It is not primitive R²D count.

6. Energy Must Factor Through the Cosmological Macrostate

For energy to represent cosmological macrostate i, require

\[ E\circ\Pi_G=\bar E_\zeta\circ\pi_\zeta\]

Then any two formal microstates belonging to the same macrostate must possess the same macrostate- level energy read.

7. Define the Macrostate Energy

When the factorization condition holds,

\[ E_{\zeta,i}=\bar E_\zeta(i)\]

This is the physical source-energy coordinate of cosmological state i.

8. Energy Is Not Peer Number

Let

\[ N_\zeta\]

count the immediately subordinate peer boundaries.

Then

\[ N_\zeta\ne E_{\zeta,i}\]

A peer count does not possess units of energy.

9. Energy Is Not Multiplicity

Likewise,

\[ W_{\zeta,i}\]

counts compatible joint peer realizations.

Therefore:

\[ W_{\zeta,i}\ne E_{\zeta,i}\]

Possible count and physical source energy are different objects.

10. Energy Is Not Occupancy

The realized occupancy

\[ c_{\zeta,i}\]

describes structural realization within the cosmological multiplicity landscape.

Thus:

\[ c_{\zeta,i}\ne E_{\zeta,i}\]

No primitive count should be silently relabeled as energy.

11. Peer Coupling Supplies the Simplest Source Bridge

For peer boundary

\[ B_{\zeta-1,\alpha}\]

the prior gravitational development introduced orientation-even coupling

\[\mu_\alpha\]

Its mass read is

\[ m_\alpha=M_{\mathrm{cal}}\mu_\alpha.\]

Mass is therefore a dimensional read of peer coupling rather than a primitive peer identity.

12. The Dust Limit Is an Additive Mass Read

For a pressureless collection of peers whose physical source bookkeeping is additive,

\[ M_\zeta=\sum_\alpha m_\alpha\]

Substituting the coupling map,

\[ M_\zeta=M_{\mathrm{cal}}\sum_\alpha\mu_\alpha\]

13. Rest Energy Follows From the Mass Read

In this limiting projection,

\[ E_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}=M_\zeta c^2\]

Hence,

\[ E_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}=M_{\mathrm{cal}}c^2\sum_\alpha\mu_\alpha\]

14. This Does Not Make Energy a Sum of Primitive Substances

The equation applies after mass and energy have been physically assigned to the peers.

It does not mean that primitive R²D reality is constructed by adding little packages of rest energy.

The primitive peer architecture remains prior.

15. The General Source Is More Than Rest Mass

A relativistic source can carry:

  • rest energy;
  • kinetic energy;
  • momentum;
  • pressure;
  • stress;
  • energy flux;
  • momentum flux.

Therefore scalar rest-mass summation is only one physical limit of the source projection.

16. The Mature Source Read Is Stress-Energy

General relativity packages these physical source properties into

\[ T_{\mu\nu}\]

R²D need not regard

\[ T_{\mu\nu}\]

as a primitive count tensor.

It is a mature physical coordinate of the peer organization after energetic and spacetime projection.

17. Eζ,i Is Therefore a Domain-Level Physical Read

The cosmological source-energy coordinate should be understood as the appropriate energy content assigned to the chosen support domain in macrostate i.

Its detailed construction depends on the physical source projection.

18. Now Define the Physical Support

Addendum 56 already provided the cosmological area coordinate

\[ A_{\zeta,i}\]

The physical support volume must be derived from the same geometric projection.

19. Choose a Fixed Comoving FLRW Domain

For a homogeneous isotropic projection, take a fixed comoving radial label

\[\chi\]

The spatial metric is

\[ dl^2=a^2(t)\left[d\chi^2+S_k^2(\chi)d\Omega^2\right]\]

20. Its Physical Boundary Area Is

\[ A_\zeta=4\pi a^2S_k^2(\chi).\]

The comoving label remains fixed while the physical area changes with the cosmological state.

21. Its Physical Support Volume Is

χ

\[ V_\zeta=4\pi a^3\int_0^\chi S_k^2(\chi')\,d\chi'\]

Thus:

\[ V_\zeta\propto a^3.\]

22. Area and Volume Are Different Geometric Reads

For the same cosmological state,

\[ A_\zeta\propto a^2.\],

while

\[ V_\zeta\propto a^3.\]

Therefore volume can be expressed through area.

23. Eliminate the Scale Factor

From

\[ A_\zeta=4\pi a^2S_k^2(\chi).\]

we have

\[ a^3=\frac{A_\zeta^{3/2}}{(4\pi)^{3/2}S_k^3(\chi)}\]

Insert this into the volume expression.

24. Boundary Area Determines Support Volume

The result is

\[ V_\zeta=\eta_{k,\chi}A_\zeta^{3/2}\]

where

\[\eta_{k,\chi}=\frac{1}{2\sqrt\pi}\frac{\int_0^\chi S_k^2(\chi')\,d\chi'}{S_k^3(\chi)}\]

25. ηk,χ Belongs to the Geometric Projection Class

For fixed:

\[ k\]

and

\[\chi\]

the coefficient

\[\eta_{k,\chi}\]

is constant.

It does not represent a primitive R²D variable.

It records the chosen physical geometric support class.

26. The Flat Spherical Limit Provides a Check

For

\[ k=0\]

\[ S_0(\chi)=\chi\]

Then

\[\int_0^\chi \chi'^2d\chi'=\frac{\chi^3}{3}\]

and therefore

\[\eta_{0,\chi}=\frac{1}{6\sqrt\pi}\]

27. Recover the Euclidean Sphere

Thus,

\[ V=\frac{A^{3/2}}{6\sqrt\pi}\]

With

\[ A=4\pi r^2\]

this gives

\[ V=\frac43\pi r^3\]

The support-volume mapping is therefore consistent with ordinary geometry.

28. Volume Comes After the Boundary Read

The logical sequence is

\[ B_\zeta\to A_\zeta\to V_\zeta\]

Physical volume is not the primitive container in which R²D peer boundaries first exist.

29. This Preserves Area Before Radius

One may insert the intermediate radius read,

\[ r_\zeta=\sqrt{\frac{A_\zeta}{4\pi}}\]

but radius is unnecessary for defining support volume.

Area remains the first boundary-level spatial read.

30. Energy Density Now Has a Defined Origin

With both physical reads available,

\[\epsilon_{\zeta,i}=\frac{E_{\zeta,i}}{V_{\zeta,i}}\]

This is the cosmological source-density coordinate.

31. Express Density Directly in Boundary-Area Form

Using

\[ V_{\zeta,i}=\eta_{k,\chi}A_{\zeta,i}^{3/2}\]

we obtain

\[\epsilon_{\zeta,i}=\frac{E_{\zeta,i}}{\eta_{k,\chi}A_{\zeta,i}^{3/2}}\]

32. Density Is Therefore a Relation Between Two Reads

Its numerator belongs to the physical source projection.

Its denominator belongs to the physical geometric-support projection.

Thus:

\[\epsilon_\zeta=\frac{\text{source-energy read}}{\text{boundary-support read}}\]

33. Energy Density Is Not a Primitive R²D Density

There is no primitive identity

\[\epsilon_\zeta=\frac{W_\zeta}{V_\zeta}\]

Multiplicity and physical energy are different quantities.

34. Nor Is It Occupancy Density

Likewise,

\[\epsilon_\zeta\ne\frac{c_\zeta}{V_\zeta}\]

Occupancy describes realized count structure.

It is not physical energy.

35. Nor Is It Background Density

Formal background count

\[ b\zeta\]

also remains distinct.

Therefore:

\[\epsilon_\zeta\ne\frac{b_\zeta}{V_\zeta}\]

The word density should not collapse these separate count types.

36. Now Return to the Friedmann Source Contribution

The matter-energy contribution is

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi G}{3c^2}\epsilon_\zeta\]

Substitute

\[\epsilon_\zeta=\frac{E_\zeta}{V_\zeta}.\]

37. Friedmann Source Becomes Energy Over Support

Then

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi G}{3c^2}\frac{E_\zeta}{V_\zeta}\]

The conventional source term now visibly contains both the source and support projections.

38. Introduce Gravitational Energy Place Value

Define

\[\ell_{E,\zeta}\equiv\frac{GE_\zeta}{c^4}\]

This is the gravitational spatial place value associated with physical source energy.

39. Rewrite the Friedmann Source Term

Since

\[ GE_\zeta=c^4\ell_{E,\zeta}\]

we obtain

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi c^2\ell_{E,\zeta}}{3V_\zeta}\]

40. The Source Term Is a Place-Value-to-Support Ratio

Thus:

\[ F_\epsilon=\text{gravitational source place value}\div\text{physical boundary support}\]

times the geometric numerical factor.

This is a more primitive physical decomposition than the statement “density causes expansion.”

41. Express It Entirely Through Boundary Area

Using

\[ V_\zeta=\eta_{k,\chi}A_\zeta^{3/2}\]

we obtain

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi c^2\ell_{E,\zeta}}{3\eta_{k,\chi}A_\zeta^{3/2}}\]

42. The Flat Spherical Limit Is Especially Transparent

For

\[ V=\frac43\pi r^3\]

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi c^2\ell_E}{3(4\pi/3)r^3}\]

Therefore,

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{2c^2\ell_E}{r^3}\]

43. Recover the Enclosed-Mass Form

For pressureless rest mass,

\[ E=Mc^2\]

Then

\[\ell_E=\frac{GM}{c^2}\]

Therefore,

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{2GM}{r^3}\]

This is the familiar spherical form of the matter contribution to the Friedmann rate magnitude.

44. The Result Does Not Make Enclosed Mass Primitive

The quantity

\[ M\]

appears only after peer coupling has acquired physical mass calibration.

The volume

\[ r3\]

appears only after boundary geometry has acquired spatial support.

Thus the familiar expression is already downstream twice.

45. Cosmological Dilution Can Now Be Deprojected

Suppose a pressureless comoving source domain possesses fixed total physical rest-energy read:

\[ E_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}=\text{constant}\]

Then density changes only because its support volume changes.

46. Dust Density Scales With Volume

Because

\[\epsilon_\zeta=\frac{E_\zeta}{V_\zeta}\]

constant Eζ gives

\[\epsilon_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}\propto V_\zeta^{-1}\]

47. Recover the Familiar a−3 Scaling

Since

\[ V_\zeta\propto a^3.\]

\[\epsilon_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}\propto a^{-3}\]

48. The Same Relation in Area Coordinates Is

−3/2 εdust

\[\epsilon_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}\propto A_\zeta^{-3/2}\]

Thus matter dilution is a downstream geometric-support effect.

49. Falling Density Does Not Mean Peer Count Is Being Destroyed

A fixed comoving peer population can retain the same physical source energy while

\[\epsilon_\zeta\]

falls.

Therefore:

[PDF boxed statement clipped: falling density does not by itself imply primitive peer-count loss. Author review of exact wording required.]

50. Density Measures Physical Support, Not Ontological Abundance Alone

The same source energy distributed over different projected support volumes produces different densities.

Density therefore cannot by itself identify the primitive amount of R²D structure.

51. Pressure Enters When Source Energy Changes With Support

The dust limit assumes constant energy in the comoving domain.

A general homogeneous source need not satisfy this.

Physical work can change the energetic read as the support changes.

52. Introduce the Adiabatic Physical Work Relation

For a homogeneous comoving source domain,

\[ dE_\zeta=-p_\zeta\,dV_\zeta.\]

This is an imported thermodynamic physical relation.

It is not a primitive R²D identity.

53. Lower-Case p Must Not Be Confused With R²D P

The symbols represent entirely different quantities:

\[ p_\zeta\ne P_\zeta\]

Here:

\(p_\zeta\) = physical pressure

whereas

\(P_\zeta\) = R²D possibility

54. Differentiate the Energy-Density Relation

Since

\[ E_\zeta=\epsilon_\zeta V_\zeta\]

\[ dE_\zeta=V_\zeta\,d\epsilon_\zeta+\epsilon_\zeta\,dV_\zeta\]

Using

\[ dE_\zeta=-p_\zeta\,dV_\zeta.\]

gives

\[ V_\zeta\,d\epsilon_\zeta+(\epsilon_\zeta+p_\zeta)\,dV_\zeta=0\]

55. Divide by Support Volume

Therefore,

\[ d\epsilon_\zeta+(\epsilon_\zeta+p_\zeta)\,d\ln V_\zeta=0\]

This is the source-support compatibility relation before physical time is introduced.

56. Rewrite the Source Relation Through Area

Because

\[ V_\zeta\propto A_\zeta^{3/2}\]

\[ d\ln V_\zeta=\frac32d\ln A_\zeta\]

Thus:

\[ d\epsilon_\zeta+\frac32(\epsilon_\zeta+p_\zeta)\,d\ln A_\zeta=0\]

57. Physical Clock Calibration Produces the Continuity Equation

Using

\[ H=\frac12\frac{d\ln A_\zeta}{dt}\]

we obtain

\[\dot\epsilon_\zeta+3H(\epsilon_\zeta+p_\zeta)=0\]

This is the conventional FLRW source continuity equation.

58. The Continuity Equation Is Therefore Downstream

Its components require:

• physical source energy; • physical pressure; • physical boundary volume; • physical clock calibration.

It is not a primitive R²D count law.

59. The Equation Describes Compatibility Between Two Physical Reads

The changing numerator is

\[ E\zeta\]

The changing denominator is

\[ V\zeta\]

Their coupled evolution determines

\[\epsilon_\zeta\]

Thus the continuity equation expresses physical source-support compatibility.

60. Dust Is One Source-Projection Class

For

\[ p=0\]

the relation gives

\[\epsilon_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}\propto a^{-3}\]

The physical source energy in a comoving domain remains constant.

61. Radiation Is Another Source-Projection Class

For

\[ p=\frac{\epsilon}{3}\]

the continuity equation gives

\[\epsilon\propto a^{-4}\]

The extra inverse factor of a reflects changing physical energy as well as changing support volume.

62. In Area Coordinates Radiation Scales As

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{rad}}\propto A_\zeta^{-2}\]

Again, this is a physical projection relation.

63. A Vacuum-Like Source Is Another Limit

For

\[ p=-\epsilon\]

the continuity equation gives

\[\epsilon=\text{constant}\]

This is a physical equation-of-state class.

It does not identify the source with primitive R²D possibility.

64. General Constant Equation of State

For

\[ p=w\epsilon\]

with constant w ,

\[\epsilon\propto a^{-3(1+w)}\]

Equivalently,

\[\epsilon\propto A_\zeta^{-3(1+w)/2}\]

65. Equations of State Belong to the Physical Source Projection

The parameter

\[ w\]

describes how physical source energy changes with physical support.

It is not a primitive R²D asymmetry coordinate.

66. Principle — Peer Energy Precedes Energy Density

The cosmological peer organization must first acquire a physical source-energy read

\[ E\zeta,i\]

Only afterward can density be defined.

67. Principle — Boundary Support Precedes Energy Density

The enclosing cosmological boundary must first acquire a physical support volume

\[ V\zeta,i\]

Under isotropic FLRW projection,

\[ V_{\zeta,i}=\eta_{k,\chi}A_{\zeta,i}^{3/2}\]

68. Principle — Cosmological Energy Density

Once both physical reads exist,

\[\epsilon_{\zeta,i}=\frac{E_{\zeta,i}}{V_{\zeta,i}}\]

Thus cosmological energy density is a derived relation between source and support.

69. Principle — Friedmann Matter-Energy Read

The corresponding Friedmann contribution is

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi c^2\ell_{E,\zeta}}{3V_\zeta}\]

where

\[\ell_{E,\zeta}\equiv\frac{GE_\zeta}{c^4}\]

This is the gravitational place value of source energy relative to boundary support.

70. Logical Status

Canonical R²D

The cosmological state is defined through compatible peer-boundary realization before energy, mass, or physical volume are introduced.

Earlier Gravitational Bridge

A peer’s orientation-even coupling can acquire the mass read

\[ m_\alpha=M_{\mathrm{cal}}\mu_\alpha.\]

Addendum 56

The cosmological boundary can acquire the physical area read

\[ A_{\zeta,i}\]

New Source-Energy Requirement

A macrostate energy coordinate requires

\[ E\circ\Pi_G=\bar E_\zeta\circ\pi_\zeta\]

New Support Relation

For a fixed comoving isotropic domain,

\[ V_\zeta=\eta_{k,\chi}A_\zeta^{3/2}\]

New Density Relation

\[\epsilon_\zeta=\frac{E_\zeta}{V_\zeta}.\]

Imported Physical Work Relation

\[ dE=-p\,dV\]

Derived Physical Continuity Relation

\[\dot\epsilon_\zeta+3H(\epsilon_\zeta+p_\zeta)=0\]

Not Established Here

This addendum does not establish:

  • cosmological peer energy always being additive;
  • peers possessing only rest energy;
  • \(E_\zeta=\sum_\alpha m_\alpha c^2\) outside dust;
  • a primitive R²D derivation of stress-energy;
  • a primitive R²D derivation of physical pressure;
  • \(p_\zeta=P_\zeta\);
  • \(\epsilon_\zeta=R_\zeta\);
  • density as multiplicity, occupancy, or background count;
  • the origin of curvature and cosmological-constant terms.

71. The Complete Source Projection Sequence

Primitive peer boundaries exist first:

\[\{B_{\zeta-1,\alpha}\}\]

They possess compatible joint realization:

\[\Omega_\zeta\]

The cosmological boundary classifies that realization:

\[\Omega_\zeta\xrightarrow{\pi_\zeta}\mathcal M_\zeta\]

The peer organization acquires a physical source-energy read:

\[ E\zeta,i\]

Independently, the enclosing cosmological boundary acquires physical area:

\[ A_{\zeta,i}\]

Area defines physical support:

\[ V_{\zeta,i}=\eta_{k,\chi}A_{\zeta,i}^{3/2}\]

Only then does energy density appear:

\[\epsilon_{\zeta,i}=\frac{E_{\zeta,i}}{V_{\zeta,i}}\]

The energy read acquires gravitational spatial place value:

\[\ell_{E,\zeta}\equiv\frac{GE_\zeta}{c^4}\]

The Friedmann source contribution becomes

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi c^2\ell_{E,\zeta}}{3V_\zeta}\]

Thus:

peer organization

↓

source-energy read

and independently

boundary area → support volume

combine to give

cosmological energy density

which then enters the downstream Friedmann partition.

72. Conclusion

Cosmological energy density appears so naturally in the Friedmann equation that it is easy to treat

\[\epsilon_\zeta\]

as a primitive description of how much material content the universe contains.

R²D requires an earlier decomposition.

The cosmological boundary first contains recursively realized peers.

Those peers possess a compatible joint state before mass or energy has been assigned to them.

A physical source projection can then assign that peer organization an energy coordinate

\[ E\zeta,i\]

In the simplest pressureless limit, peer coupling acquires mass through

\[ m_\alpha=M_{\mathrm{cal}}\mu_\alpha.\],

and the comoving source energy becomes

\[ E_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}=M_{\mathrm{cal}}c^2\sum_\alpha\mu_\alpha\]

More generally, the mature source read includes energy, momentum, pressure, stress, and flux.

Independently, the enclosing cosmological boundary acquires a geometric read.

Area comes first:

\[ A_{\zeta,i}\]

For a fixed isotropic comoving support domain, volume follows as

\[ V_{\zeta,i}=\eta_{k,\chi}A_{\zeta,i}^{3/2}\]

Only then can the physical source-density coordinate be constructed:

\[\epsilon_{\zeta,i}=\frac{E_{\zeta,i}}{V_{\zeta,i}}\]

The Friedmann matter-energy term is therefore

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi G}{3c^2}\frac{E_\zeta}{V_\zeta}\]

Or, using gravitational energy place value,

\[ F_\epsilon=\frac{8\pi c^2\ell_{E,\zeta}}{3V_\zeta}\]

The conventional statement that energy density gravitates is therefore a mature physical compression of two prior projections:

peer energy

and

boundary support.

Density does not create either one.

It is their ratio.

This also changes the meaning of cosmological dilution.

For pressureless conserved source energy,

\[\epsilon_\zeta^{\mathrm{dust}}\propto a^{-3}\]

does not mean primitive peer structure is disappearing.

The physical source read remains fixed while its projected support grows.

For sources with pressure, the numerator changes with the support according to the physical work relation, yielding the standard continuity equation.

None of these physical relations requires identifying pressure with R²D possibility, energy density with retention, or matter with primitive count.

The causal ordering remains:

peer-boundary organization

↓

physical source energy

combined with

physical boundary support

to produce

energy density

and only afterward

Friedmann source contribution.

The central statement is therefore:

cosmological energy density is not a primitive amount of substance distributed through pre-existing

And hence:

peer energy and boundary support occur before cosmological energy density.
