Addendum 53 — Terminal Nonclosure Occurs Before Cosmological Direction

The Largest Open Boundary, External Asymmetry, and the Causal Inversion From R2D Thermodynamics to Gravitational Cosmology

Abstract

Recursively Realized Distinguishability does not begin cosmology with the scale factor, Hubble expansion, matter density, curvature, dark energy, or Einstein’s gravitational field equations.

It begins with the same primitive turbine architecture used at every nonterminal boundary:

\[A=P-R.\]

This relation is thermodynamic in the primitive R²D sense.

It contains:

• boundary; • multiplicity; • possibility; • retention; • constraint; • distinguishability; • occurrence; • occupancy; • and closure.

It does not primitively contain:

\[m, G, \rho, r, g_{\mu\nu} , H, a, \Lambda\]

Those quantities belong to later physical projections.

For a nonterminal cosmological boundary Bζ , possibility is defined through the multiplicity of enclosing realizations compatible with its alternative states,

\[P_{\zeta,i}=\ln\frac{\Theta_{\star\mid\zeta,i}}{W_{\zeta,i}}\]

Retention is defined by enclosing constraint acting against a distinguishable cosmological transition,

\[R_{\zeta,i\to k}=C_\star\lambda_{\zeta,i\to k}.\]

The resulting cosmological asymmetry is

\[A_{\zeta,i\to k}=P_{\zeta,i\to k}-R_{\zeta,i\to k}.\]

This asymmetry biases realization of the cosmological multiplicity landscape before any mass, gravitational constant, or spacetime coordinate has been assigned.

The immediate causal relation remains the ordinary R²D occupancy relation:

\[\Delta G_{\zeta,i\to k}=\Delta\tau_{\zeta,i\to k}+\Delta A_{\zeta,i\to k}.\]

The cosmological boundary therefore does not generate the directional asymmetry under which it evolves.

Its local occurrence structure realizes a bias supplied by an enclosing relation.

The causal problem cannot, however, regress indefinitely through realized boundaries.

Let

\[B_\star\]

denote the largest presently realized R²D boundary.

The current canon postulates that its macrostate path remains open.

It has not completed closure.

There is therefore no presently realized enclosing boundary from which its direction can be derived through another ordinary P − R relation. The terminal open path is explicitly distinguished from ordinary nonterminal turbines.

To preserve that distinction, introduce the terminal orientation

\[\Omega_\star\]

defined as the unresolved directional condition of the presently open terminal path.

Crucially,

\[\Omega_\star\ne P_\star-R_\star.\]

If B⋆ possessed an enclosing realized source from which such a relation could be constructed, it would not be terminal.

Thus R²D contains two causal regimes.

For every nonterminal boundary,

\[A_n = P_n - R_n\]

At the terminal realized boundary,

Ω⋆ = unresolved terminal nonclosure.

The terminal orientation is not transmitted downward as one unchanged asymmetry.

Instead, it defines the larger compatibility relations under which subordinate boundaries possess their own possibility, constraint, retention, and asymmetry.

Schematically,

\[\Omega_\star\]

↓

\[\Theta_{\star\mid\zeta},\ C_\star\]

↓

\[P_\zeta , R_\zeta\]

↓

\(A_\zeta=P_\zeta-R_\zeta\). > ↓

biased cosmological realization.

This is the top-down causal description.

Only afterward does R²D permit physical dimensionalization.

A realized count relation may acquire a physical energetic or coupling read such as mass-energy.

Gravity then introduces an additional conversion from that physical property read into spatial place value.

Addendum 52 identified the gravitational conversion

\[\ell_G=\frac{Gm}{c^2}=\frac{GE}{c^4}\]

Thus G enters only after the primitive thermodynamic count relation has been projected into a physical property coordinate.

The causal sequence is therefore

enclosing count relation

↓

\[A=P -R\]

↓

biased realization

↓

\[\text{physical coupling read}\xrightarrow{G}\text{spatial/geometric read}\]

spatial / geometric read.

Conventional gravitational equations reverse the apparent direction.

They are written as though subordinate physical source quantities such as mass or energy density produce the larger gravitational field or geometry:

mass-energy source → gravity → trajectory.

R²D proposes the opposite primitive causal ordering:

enclosing boundary → compatible realization → subordinate trajectory.

The conventional bottom-up source equation can remain physically predictive while being a later projection of a prior top-down count relation.

Cosmology must therefore not identify

\[P_\zeta , R_\zeta , A_\zeta\]

directly with

\[\rho,\ \Lambda,\ H,\ a,\ \dot a,\ \ddot a\]

or any other mature gravitational coordinate.

Doing so would insert the bottom-up gravitational projection into the primitive top-down thermodynamic layer and erase the causal inversion that R²D is intended to test.

The first problem of R²D cosmology is therefore not:

Why does the universe expand?

It is:

What is the enclosing asymmetry under which the largest readable cosmological multiplicity / landscape is realized?

And the terminal form of that question is:

Why has the largest presently realized recursive path not closed?

The current theory does not derive an enclosing cause for that terminal nonclosure.

It postulates terminal openness as the causal terminus of the realized hierarchy.

The central statement is therefore:

cosmological direction is not generated by subordinate mass, radiation, or geometry. At every nonte

And hence:

terminal nonclosure occurs before cosmological direction.

1. Cosmology Must Begin With Causal Architecture

The first question of R²D cosmology is not geometric.

It is causal.

A cosmological model may accurately describe:

\[a(t)\]

\[H(t)\]

\[\rho(t)\]

\[\Lambda\]

curvature,

redshift,

or horizon structure without yet identifying why one cosmological realization occurs rather than another.

R²D requires that question first.

2. The Primitive Cosmological Relation Is Thermodynamic

For a nonterminal boundary,

\[A=P-R.\]

This is not thermodynamics in the narrow sense of heat engines or molecular gases.

It is the primitive R²D turbine architecture from which domain-specific thermodynamics is later projected.

It requires only count relations.

3. P − R Contains No Primitive Gravity

The primitive relation does not contain

\[G\]

It does not contain mass.

It does not contain a metric.

It does not contain energy density.

It does not contain radius.

It does not contain spacetime curvature.

Therefore:

\[A=P -R\]

exists logically before gravitational dimensionalization.

4. This Separation Is Essential

If one defines

\[P_\zeta\]

using dark-energy density,

or

\[R_\zeta\]

using matter density,

or inserts

\[G\]

directly into the primitive turbine,

then the physical gravitational projection has already been imported into the R²D causal layer.

The causal inversion has been lost.

5. Define the Readable Cosmological Boundary

Let

\[B_\zeta\]

denote the largest cosmological count boundary presently reconstructed from physical observation.

This is not automatically:

\[B_\star\]

The observable cosmological domain and the largest presently realized recursive boundary must remain distinct until their identity is established.

6. Cosmological Macrostates Must Be Boundary Defined

Let

\[i, k\]

denote alternative cosmological macrostates at

\[B_\zeta\]

Their physical interpretation has not yet been fully established.

They must initially remain count states, not FLRW coordinates.

7. Native Multiplicity Comes First

For cosmological macrostate i, define

\[W_{\zeta,i}\]

Its logarithmic multiplicity is

\[S_{\zeta,i} = \ln W_{\zeta,i}\]

This structure exists before a mass density or spatial geometry is assigned.

8. Possibility Is Enclosing Compatibility

For a nonterminal cosmological boundary, define the enclosing compatible multiplicity

[Archival source layout requires author review] Θ⋆∣ζ,i .

Then

\[P_{\zeta,i}=\ln\frac{\Theta_{\star\mid\zeta,i}}{W_{\zeta,i}}\]

Possibility is therefore an enclosing count relation.

It is not a force.

9. Cosmological Possibility Is Not Dark Energy

Nothing in the definition

\[P_{\zeta,i}=\ln\frac{\Theta_{\star\mid\zeta,i}}{W_{\zeta,i}}\]

contains

\[\Lambda\]

vacuum energy,

or dark-energy density.

Therefore:

\[P_\zeta \ne \Lambda\]

and

\[P_\zeta \ne \rho_{\mathrm{DE}}\]

unless a later projection is derived.

10. Retention Is Enclosing Constraint

For a transition

\[i \to k\]

let

\[\lambda_{\zeta,i\to k}\]

be its boundary-defined distinguishable interval.

Let

\[C_\star\]

be the relevant enclosing constraint.

Then

\[R_{\zeta,i\to k}=C_\star\lambda_{\zeta,i\to k}.\]

Again, this is a count relation before physical gravity.

11. Retention Is Not Matter Density

No primitive identity has been established between

\[R_\zeta\]

and

\[\rho_m\]

Therefore:

\[R_\zeta \ne \rho_m\]

by definition.

Nor is

\[R_\zeta\]

simply “gravity.”

12. Cosmological Asymmetry Is the Difference

For a nonterminal cosmological boundary,

\[A_{\zeta,i\to k}=P_{\zeta,i\to k}-R_{\zeta,i\to k}.\]

This is the directional bias under which the cosmological multiplicity landscape is realized.

13. Aζ Is Not Expansion

No derivation yet establishes

\[A_\zeta = H\]

Nor:

\[A_\zeta=\dot a\]

Nor:

\[A_\zeta=\ddot a\]

Thus:

cosmological asymmetry ≠ cosmol

14. Asymmetry Acts First on Realization

The immediate effect of asymmetry is occupancy bias.

For a readable transition,

\[\Delta G_{\zeta,i\to k}=\Delta\tau_{\zeta,i\to k}+\Delta A_{\zeta,i\to k}.\]

Thus Aζ first changes how occurrence is expressed as cosmological occupancy.

15. Cosmological Direction Therefore Begins as State Preference

Before it becomes:

• expansion; • acceleration; • curvature; • redshift; • horizon evolution; • or structure formation,

cosmological direction means only:

one boundary-defined realization is favored over another.

That is the primitive causal statement.

16. The Cosmological Boundary Does Not Generate Its Own Bias

The local multiplicity landscape defines:

• available states; • distinguishable transitions; • possible closures.

But it does not determine why one branch is favored.

The enclosing relation does.

This is the same causal inversion used throughout R²D.

17. Subordinate Occurrence Answers “How”

The subordinate occurrence structure realizes the cosmological transition.

It tells us how a change is carried out locally.

It does not define why that transition is biased in one direction.

18. The Enclosing Relation Answers “Why”

The compatible enclosing multiplicity and constraint determine

\[P_\zeta\]

and

\[R_\zeta\]

Therefore the enclosing relation determines

\[A_\zeta\]

This is the recursive source of cosmological causal direction.

19. Cosmology Cannot Be the Exception to External Asymmetry

If every molecular, biological, mechanical, and gravitational turbine receives its direction externally, then a cosmological turbine cannot simply generate its own asymmetry without explanation.

Either:

\[B_\zeta\]

is nonterminal and receives its bias from an enclosing relation,

or

\[B_\zeta\]

is the terminal open path itself.

Those are different logical cases.

20. Introduce the Terminal Boundary

Let

\[B_\star\]

denote the largest presently realized R²D boundary.

The current canon postulates that its macrostate path remains open and has not completed closure.

21. The Terminal Boundary Is Not Merely Very Large

The defining property of

\[B_\star\]

is not spatial size.

It is recursive status.

There is no presently realized completed enclosing boundary above it from which its causal direction can be derived.

22. Ordinary P − R Cannot Be Applied One Level Higher

At every nonterminal boundary,

\[A_n = P_n - R_n\]

But if

\[B_\star\]

is truly terminal, there is no realized

\[B_\star+1\]

from which to define an ordinary terminal

\[P\star\]

and

\[R\star\]

Therefore the regress stops.

23. Introduce Terminal Orientation

Define

\[\Omega_\star\]

as the unresolved directional condition associated with the open terminal path.

This symbol is deliberately distinct from

\[A\]

24. Terminal Orientation Is Not Ordinary Asymmetry

The defining safeguard is

\[\Omega_\star\ne P_\star-R_\star.\]

The terminal relation is not another ordinary turbine awaiting explanation by a still larger realized landscape.

If it were, it would not be terminal.

25. Terminal Nonclosure Is a Postulate

The openness of the largest realized path is not derived from the intermediate turbine equations.

It is a terminal postulate of the current R²D canon.

Therefore the theory must say so explicitly.

26. Nonclosure Alone Is Not a Mathematical Proof of Direction

An incomplete path does not, by itself, mathematically derive an arrow.

R²D adds the terminal postulate that the unresolved open path supplies the causal orientation of subordinate realization.

Thus:

Ω⋆ = postulated terminal orientation of unresolved nonclosure.

27. The Largest Gear Is Therefore Not “Driven” Normally

The recursive gear analogy must be handled carefully.

Local gears close.

They return.

They are realized under an external asymmetry.

The terminal path has not returned.

It is therefore not simply another closed gear receiving torque from above.

28. Nothing Realized Above the Terminal Boundary Turns It

If an enclosing realized boundary supplied

\[P\star - R\star\]

then the putative terminal boundary would be subordinate.

Therefore:

The terminal orientation has no further realized enclosing source. [The archival boxed glyph is clipped; author review.]

This is where the causal regress terminates.

29. Local Closure Occurs Inside Global Nonclosure

The resulting hierarchy is:

local closure

inside

globally unresolved terminal realization.

The smallest gears repeatedly close.

The largest presently realized path remains open.

30. This Is the Source of Global Direction in the Current Canon

The terminal postulate is therefore:

global nonclosure supplies causal orientation.

Local closure supplies recursive realization.

These two roles are distinct.

31. Terminal Orientation Is Not Transmitted Unchanged

It would be incorrect to write

\[\Omega_\star = A_\zeta = A_\zeta-1 = \cdots\]

Each boundary possesses its own:

\[W, P, R, A\]

The canon explicitly distinguishes persistence of causal direction from transmission of one unchanged asymmetry.

32. Terminal Orientation Acts Through Enclosing Compatibility

Instead, the terminal open relation determines which subordinate realizations remain jointly compatible.

Schematically,

\[\Omega_\star\Rightarrow\Theta_{\star\mid\zeta}\]

This is a causal-structural statement, not an arithmetic identity.

33. Terminal Orientation Also Conditions Constraint

Likewise the enclosing organization defines the constraint under which the subordinate cosmological distinction is retained:

\[\Omega_\star \Rightarrow C \star\]

Again, the arrow denotes causal organization.

34. Ordinary Cosmological Asymmetry Then Emerges Locally

Given

[Archival source layout requires author review] Θ⋆∣ζ

and

\[C_\star\]

the subordinate cosmological boundary has its own

\[P_\zeta\]

\[R_\zeta\]

and

\[A_\zeta\]

Thus:

\[\Omega_\star\Rightarrow\{\Theta_{\star\mid\zeta},C_\star\}\Rightarrow\{P_\zeta,R_\zeta\}\Rightarrow A_\zeta\]

35. Case I — The Observable Cosmological Boundary Is Nonterminal

Suppose

\[B_\zeta \subset B_\star\]

Then ordinary R²D turbine architecture applies.

The cosmological boundary is externally biased by an enclosing realized relation.

Its asymmetry is

\[A_\zeta=P_\zeta-R_\zeta.\]

36. Case II — The Observable Cosmological Boundary Is Terminal

Suppose instead

\[B_\zeta = B_\star\]

Then the observed cosmological relation is the terminal open path itself.

There is no further realized boundary from which ordinary

\[P_\zeta - R_\zeta\]

can be constructed.

The observed direction would then be a physical projection of

\[\Omega_\star\]

37. These Cases Must Not Be Blurred

The observable universe is not automatically the terminal realized boundary.

Likewise, a cosmological horizon is not automatically the terminal recursive boundary.

The distinction is foundational.

38. The First Empirical Cosmological Problem Is Therefore Boundary Ownership

Before asking what

\[H\]

or

\[a\]

means, R²D must ask:

\[B_\zeta=B_\star\quad\text{or}\quad B_\zeta\subset B_\star\]

This is a causal classification problem.

39. The Cosmological Macrostate Landscape Remains Unresolved

Even if

\[B_\zeta\]

is nonterminal, we still require a physical definition of the macrostates

\[i, k\]

Without that, the cosmological turbine remains formal.

40. We Must Not Define Those States Using Downstream Gravity Prematurely

It would be circular to define the primitive cosmological macrostates immediately as:

\[\rho_i\]

\[ai\]

\[Hi\]

or

\[\Lambda_i\]

Those are already physical gravitational projections.

The primitive count states must be defined before them.

41. The Candidate Landscape Must Be Stated in Count Language

The required objects are:

\[W_{\zeta,i}\]

[Archival source layout requires author review] Θ⋆∣ζ,i ,

\[\lambda_{\zeta,i\to k}\]

and the occupancy structure that realizes them.

Only after these are specified should a gravitational coordinate be assigned.

42. This Is the Point Where Earlier Cosmology Started Too Late

Previous R²D cosmology often began with:

\[a(t)\]

CMB temperature,

background frequency,

inflation,

or the Friedmann equation.

Those relations may remain useful physical projections.

But they begin after the causal turbine has already been compressed into gravitational variables.

43. R²D Must Preserve the Causal Inversion

The primitive R²D ordering is top-down:

enclosing boundary → local asymmetry → subordinate realization.

Conventional mechanistic physics is commonly written bottom-up:

subordinate physical sources → field or geometry → system behavior.

These are different causal representations.

44. Conventional Bottom-Up Causality Can Remain Predictive

R²D does not require Newtonian, Einsteinian, or Friedmann equations to fail.

A projected equation can remain quantitatively correct even if it assigns primitive causal agency to variables that are downstream physical reads.

The issue is ontological ordering, not necessarily predictive validity.

45. Newtonian Gravity Already Shows the Inversion

The conventional form is

\[M\xrightarrow{G/r^2}\text{acceleration of }m\]

R²D instead begins with the enclosing gravitational relation that makes the subordinate trajectory compatible.

Mass and force are later physical projections of that relation.

46. Einstein’s Equation Shows the Same Compression

Conventionally,

\[G_{\mu\nu}=\frac{8\pi G}{c^4}T_{\mu\nu}\]

This is often read as:

\[stress-energy \to curvature\]

R²D may instead interpret both sides as compatible physical projections of a prior enclosing count relation.

The equation need not decide primitive causal direction by itself.

47. G Belongs to the Projection Layer

The primitive relation

\[A=P -R\]

contains no G.

Addendum 52 identified

\[\frac{G}{c^2}\]

as a mass-to-gravitational-length calibration and

\[\frac{G}{c^4}\]

as an energy-to-gravitational-spatial calibration.

Therefore G belongs after the count relation has acquired a physical mass-energy read.

48. The Full Transition Has Three Layers

Layer 1 — Primitive R²D thermodynamics

\[W , \Theta, \lambda, C, P , R, A, \nu, c\]

No mass.

No G.

No metric.

Layer 2 — Physical property read

The realized relation is represented as quantities such as

\[m, E, T_{\mu\nu}\]

Layer 3 — Gravitational spatial read

The physical property read is converted through

\[G\]

into quantities such as

\[r, A, g_{\mu\nu} , curvature, trajectory\]

49. The Conversion Does Not Reverse Primitive Causality

Once written in gravitational variables, the equations may appear to say that mass-energy produces geometry.

But the appearance of bottom-up causal source terms occurs after the physical projection.

The primitive R²D ordering remains:

whole → compatible subordinate realization.

50. Principle — Causal Projection Inversion

For a nonterminal R²D boundary, primitive causality is

Bn+1 → (Pn , Rn ) → An → local realization.

After dimensionalization, the same compatible relation may be written as a physical equation in which subordinate source variables appear to determine the enclosing field or geometry.

Therefore:

projected source causality ≠ primit

51. Cosmology Must Cross This Projection Explicitly

A legitimate R²D cosmological derivation cannot begin with

\[H^2=\frac{8\pi G}{3}\rho+\cdots\]

and simply rename the terms as P and R.

That would remain inside the gravitational projection.

The derivation must begin before G.

52. The Required Cosmological Derivation Has a Definite Order

The desired sequence is

\[P_\zeta - R_\zeta\]

↓

biased cosmological occurrence

↓

\[\text{physical coupling read}\xrightarrow{G}\text{spatial/geometric read}\]

spatial / geometric realization

↓

FLRW / Friedmann projection.

Only then would Friedmann dynamics be genuinely derived from R²D.

53. Mass Density Is Therefore Downstream

The cosmological density

\[\rho\]

is a physical mass-energy density.

It does not belong in the primitive definition of

\[P_\zeta\]

or

\[R_\zeta\]

Therefore:

\[\rho\ne P_\zeta\]

and

\[\rho\ne R_\zeta\]

54. Λ Is Likewise Downstream

The cosmological constant belongs to the mature gravitational projection.

It may eventually be shown to encode some aspect of an R²D boundary relation.

But:

\[\Lambda\ne P_\zeta\]

\[\Lambda\ne A_\zeta\]

and

\[\Lambda\ne \Omega_\star\]

without a derivation.

55. Dark Energy Is Not the Primitive Source of Asymmetry by Definition

The phrase “dark energy causes accelerated expansion” belongs to a conventional projected causal interpretation.

R²D asks a prior question:

What enclosing count asymmetry is being represented by the physical quantities that appear / in the acceleration equation?

That remains unresolved.

56. Hubble Expansion Is Likewise Downstream

The Hubble parameter

\[H\]

may eventually provide a physical rate read of cosmological realization.

But:

\[H\ne A_\zeta\]

and

\[H\ne \Omega_\star\]

by definition.

A bridge must be derived.

57. Expansion May Be the Rate of a Biased Occurrence, Not the Bias Itself

This suggests the more appropriate hierarchy

\[A_\zeta\]

↓

\[\Delta\tau_\zeta\]

↓

\[\Delta\lambda_\zeta\]

↓

physical spatial projection

\[\Delta L_\zeta\]

↓

physical-time rate

\[H\]

This is a proposed architecture to be tested, not yet a derived cosmological law.

58. This Mirrors Muscle More Closely

In muscle,

\[A\]

is not shortening velocity.

It biases the molecular occurrence relation whose enclosing mechanical read includes shortening.

Likewise, cosmological asymmetry need not equal

\[H\]

It may bias the occurrence relation whose physical spatial rate becomes H .

59. This Is the Correct Place to Reintroduce Cosmological Place Value

Only after the causal turbine has been defined should one introduce a physical spatial calibration

\[L_\zeta\]

Then a cosmological transition may acquire a spatial read.

The previous Addendum 53 result therefore remains useful, but it belongs downstream of this causal addendum.

60. Cosmological Place Value Is a Projection, Not the Cause

The relation

\[dℓ\zeta = L_\zeta (t)d\lambda_\zeta\]

can still serve as the spatial representation of cosmological distinguishability.

But the changing

\[L_\zeta (t)\]

must not itself be taken as the primitive source of direction.

Its directional evolution must ultimately be traced back to the cosmological turbine.

61. Friedmann Cosmology Therefore Comes Later

After spatial dimensionalization, one may recover or compare with

\[a(t)\]

\[H(t)\]

\[\rho(t)\]

\[k\]

and

\[\Lambda\]

These quantities constitute the mature gravitational cosmological projection.

They are not primitive R²D variables.

62. The Real Test of R²D Cosmology

The theory must eventually demonstrate that a primitive cosmological count relation,

\[A_\zeta=P_\zeta-R_\zeta.\],

when realized and physically projected through the appropriate coupling and spatial conversions, reproduces the observed cosmological relations.

That is substantially harder than reinterpreting Friedmann after the fact.

It is also the relevant test.

63. Principle — External Cosmological Asymmetry

For every nonterminal cosmological boundary,

\[B_\zeta\]

the local multiplicity landscape does not generate its own directional bias.

The enclosing relation supplies possibility and constraint:

\[P_\zeta , R_\zeta\]

Therefore:

\(A_\zeta=P_\zeta-R_\zeta\) is externally defined.

64. Principle — Terminal Causal Orientation

Let

\[B_\star\]

be the largest presently realized boundary.

Its macrostate path remains open.

Define

\[\Omega_\star\]

as the unresolved orientation of that open path.

Then:

\[\Omega_\star\ne P_\star-R_\star.\]

Terminal orientation is the causal terminus of the realized recursive hierarchy.

65. Principle — Downward Causal Realization

Terminal orientation does not propagate downward as a fixed numerical asymmetry.

Instead, it determines the enclosing compatibility relations through which subordinate boundaries possess their own

\[P_n , R_n , A_n\]

Thus:

\[\Omega_\star \Rightarrow boundary-specific A_n\]

66. Principle — Causal Projection Inversion

Primitive R²D causality is top-down:

enclosing relation → subordinate realization.

Gravitational dimensionalization can produce a bottom-up physical representation:

subordinate mass-energy source → field / geometry.

The latter is a projection of the former and must not be substituted back into the primitive turbine without derivation.

67. Principle — Gravitational Conversion Comes After Thermodynamic Asymmetry

The primitive R²D turbine contains no G.

Only after a count realization acquires a physical mass-energy read can the gravitational conversion

\[\ell_G=\frac{Gm}{c^2}\]

or

\[\ell_G=\frac{GE}{c^4}\]

be applied.

Therefore:

A = P − R → physical coupling → G-calibrated geometry.

68. Logical Status

Canonical R²D

For nonterminal boundaries,

\[A=P-R.\]

Possibility is defined by enclosing compatible multiplicity.

Retention is defined through enclosing constraint acting against local distinguishability.

Local asymmetry biases occupancy realization.

Canonical External Causality

The local landscape does not generate the asymmetry under which it is realized.

Direction is supplied by the enclosing relation.

This is a central causal inversion of the canon.

Canonical Terminal Postulate

The largest presently realized boundary remains open.

Its unresolved nonclosure supplies terminal causal orientation rather than receiving an ordinary P − R asymmetry from another realized boundary.

New Notational Clarification

Define

\[\Omega_\star\]

for terminal orientation in order to distinguish it from ordinary nonterminal

\[A=P-R.\]

New Cosmological Requirement

A genuine R²D cosmology must identify the cosmological multiplicity landscape and derive:

\[W_\zeta\]

[Archival source layout requires author review] Θ⋆∣ζ ,

\[\lambda_\zeta\]

\[C_\star\]

\[P_\zeta\]

\[R_\zeta\]

and

\[A_\zeta\]

before introducing mature gravitational cosmological coordinates.

Inherited Gravitational Projection

Mass-energy and G-calibrated spatial geometry are later physical representations.

They do not belong in the primitive definition of the turbine.

Not Established Here

This addendum does not establish:

• the physical identity of the cosmological macrostates; • whether Bζ = B⋆ ; • a physical calibration of Θ⋆∣ζ ; • a physical calibration of C⋆ ; • Aζ = H ; • Aζ = ȧ; • Aζ = ä; • Pζ = Λ; • Pζ = ρDE ; • R ζ = ρm ; • Ω⋆ = Λ; • Ω⋆ = H ; • or the Friedmann equations from primitive R²D counting.

These remain the actual cosmological problems.

69. The Central Causal Inversion

The conventional cosmological description can be written schematically as

\[\rho, p, \Lambda\]

↓

gravitational geometry

↓

a(t), H(t), cosmological trajectories.

This is a bottom-up physical source representation.

R²D begins before those quantities exist:

\[B_\star\]

↓

\[\Omega_\star\]

↓

\[\Theta_{\star\mid\zeta},\ C_\star\]

↓

\[P_\zeta , R_\zeta\]

↓

\(A_\zeta=P_\zeta-R_\zeta\). > ↓

biased cosmological realization

↓

physical coupling read

\[m, E, T_{\mu\nu} , \ldots\]

↓

gravitational conversion

\[G\]

↓

[Archival source layout requires author review] spatial / geometric cosmology.

This is the R²D causal order.

70. Conclusion

R²D cosmology cannot begin with gravity.

It cannot begin with mass density.

It cannot begin with dark energy.

It cannot begin with the Friedmann equations.

And it cannot begin with the scale factor.

Those are already physical projections of a relation whose primitive causal architecture must be specified first.

For every nonterminal cosmological boundary,

\[A_\zeta=P_\zeta-R_\zeta.\]

Possibility is supplied by enclosing compatible multiplicity:

\[P_{\zeta,i}=\ln\frac{\Theta_{\star\mid\zeta,i}}{W_{\zeta,i}}\]

Retention is supplied by enclosing constraint:

\[R_{\zeta,i\to k}=C_\star\lambda_{\zeta,i\to k}.\]

The resulting asymmetry biases realization:

\[\Delta G_{\zeta,i\to k}=\Delta\tau_{\zeta,i\to k}+\Delta A_{\zeta,i\to k}.\]

This is thermodynamic R²D.

No mass appears.

No G appears.

No spacetime geometry appears.

The cosmological boundary does not generate this directional bias itself.

Its enclosing relation defines why one realization is favored over another.

The causal regress continues upward until the largest presently realized boundary

\[B_\star\]

That boundary is different.

Its path remains open.

There is no presently realized enclosing relation from which its direction can be derived through another ordinary

\[P - R\]

Define its unresolved terminal orientation as

\[\Omega_\star\]

Then:

\[\Omega_\star\ne P_\star-R_\star.\]

Terminal nonclosure is the causal terminus of the current R²D hierarchy.

Its consequence is expressed downward through boundary-specific compatibility and constraint:

\[\Omega_\star\Rightarrow\{\Theta_{\star\mid\zeta},C_\star\}\Rightarrow\{P_\zeta,R_\zeta\}\Rightarrow A_\zeta\]

Only after this causal count relation has been realized may it be given a physical property read.

Only after a mass-energy or coupling read exists does gravity enter.

Then the conversion identified in Addendum 52 becomes available:

\[\ell_G=\frac{Gm}{c^2}=\frac{GE}{c^4}\]

Thus G belongs at the transition from a thermodynamic count description to a gravitational spatial description.

This transition also changes the apparent direction of causality.

Primitive R²D is top-down:

enclosing relation → subordinate realization.

Conventional gravitational physics is written bottom-up:

subordinate mass-energy source → field or geometry.

The bottom-up equation may remain predictive.

But it is downstream of the top-down count relation.

A genuine R²D cosmology must therefore derive the bridge between them rather than insert gravitational variables directly into the primitive turbine.

The first cosmological question is not:

Why does mass make the universe expand?

Nor:

What form of dark energy drives acceleration?

It is:

What cosmological multiplicity landscape is being realized, what enclosing relation defines its / P − R asymmetry, and how is that asymmetry ultimately rooted in the unresolved / nonclosure of the largest presently realized path?

The central statement is therefore:

\boxed{ \textbf{R²D cosmology begins with a boundary asymmetry that contains neither mass nor

\(G\). Mass and \(G\) enter only when the resulting top-down count relation is projected into the > bottom-up spatial language of gravitational physics.} }

More fundamentally:
