Addendum 67 — Sparse Realization Occurs Before Continuum Singularity

Occurrence Resolution, Discrete Geometric Steps, and the Mathematical Signature of Continuum Breakdown

Abstract

Addendum 66 established that R2D denies the singular Big Bang as the primitive origin of reality.

The largest realized boundary is recursively realized through an infinitude of fundamental distinctions.

Physical area, volume, density, temperature, curved spacetime, and cosmological clock time arise only afterward as boundary-defined physical projections.

The FLRW singularity is therefore not the origin of recursive reality.

It is the singular endpoint obtained by extrapolating a later continuum cosmological projection toward

\[ A_\zeta \to 0\]

This leaves a constructive question:

What mathematical condition marks the point at which the smooth cosmological projection ceases to resolve the recursively realized count structure from which it is constructed?

R2D already contains the required quantities.

Addendum 58 defined clock-relative cosmological progress:

\[\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}=\frac12\frac{d\ln A_\zeta}{dN_C^{(c)}}=\frac{d\ln a}{dN_C^{(c)}}\]

Here

\[ N_C^{(c)}\]

is the completed recurrence count of an admissible subordinate clock class.

Addendum 59 then showed, for a dominant coherent cosmological transition class χ,

\[\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}=\delta_{A,\chi}\rho_{\zeta\mid\zeta-1,c}\]

where

\[\delta_{A,\chi}=\frac12\ln\frac{A_{\zeta,k}}{A_{\zeta,i}}=\ln\frac{a_k}{a_i}\]

is the physical logarithmic scale step produced by one enclosing cosmological occurrence, and

\[\rho_{\zeta\mid\zeta-1,c}=\frac{N_\zeta^\chi}{N_C^{(c)}}\]

is the enclosing-occurrence/subordinate-recurrence ratio.

These quantities define a natural R2D continuum-resolution parameter:

\[ \epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\equiv\left|\frac{d\ln a}{dN_C^{(c)}}\right|=\left|\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}\right|. \]

For a single dominant coherent transition class,

\[ \epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=|\delta_{A,\chi}|\,\rho_{\zeta\mid\zeta-1,c}. \]

Its reciprocal is

\[ \mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\equiv\left|\frac{dN_C^{(c)}}{d\ln a}\right|=\frac{1}{\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}}. \]

The quantity

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\]

has a direct count interpretation.

It is the number of completed subordinate clock closures through which one order-one logarithmic change of projected cosmological scale is realized.

A smooth continuum approximation requires

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\gg1\]

or equivalently,

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\ll1\]

Many subordinate realizations then occur within one macroscopic geometric interval.

The individual count steps are unreadable in the physical continuum coordinate.

When instead

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=O(1)\]

the continuum interval is supported by only order-one subordinate closures.

The discrete realization path can no longer be replaced by a smooth differential trajectory without losing the count structure that generates it.

This is the R2D mathematical signature of continuum breakdown.

The resulting state is not one with few fundamental distinctions.

The largest gear remains recursively realized through an infinitude of fundamental distinctions.

The sparsity is resolution relative:

sparse realization = too few realized count updates per projected continuum interval.

It is the realized sampling of the multiplicity landscape that becomes sparse relative to the physical field coordinate.

The possible multiplicity

\[ W\]

need not become small.

Nor need primitive reality become spatially granular.

The continuum loses readability because its smooth coordinate now attempts to interpolate across distinguishable count steps rather than average over many of them.

Physical clock calibration makes the same criterion immediately visible.

Addendum 58 gave

\[ dt=T_c\,dN_C^{(c)}\]

with

\[ f_c=\frac1{T_c}=\frac{dN_C^{(c)}}{dt}\]

Therefore:

\[ H=f_c\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}\]

Hence:

\[ \epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{|H|}{f_c}. \]

And:

\[ \mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{f_c}{|H|}. \]

The continuum cosmological regime therefore requires

\[|H|\ll f_c\]

The cosmological boundary must evolve slowly relative to the subordinate recurrence through which that evolution is physically resolved.

Now compare this with the fixed FLRW singular extrapolation.

For a dominant positive sector with

\[ H^2=BA_\zeta^{-s},\qquad s>0\]

one has

\[|H|=\sqrt B\,A_\zeta^{-s/2}\]

If the subordinate clock calibration remains finite over the same count domain,

\[ f_c < \infty\]

then

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{f_c}{\sqrt B}A_\zeta^{s/2}\]

Therefore:

\[ A_\zeta\to0\quad\Longrightarrow\quad\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\to0\]

The fixed continuum projection necessarily passes through

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\sim1\]

before it can reach

\[ A_\zeta = 0\]

Thus, for any finite subordinate recurrence calibration, continuum readability fails at finite projected area before the formal FLRW singularity.

There is only one way for the fixed continuum description to avoid this result.

The subordinate physical recurrence must itself increase without bound:

\[ f_c\to\infty\]

fast enough to maintain

\[|H|/f_c\ll1\]

But then the fixed clock calibration has itself failed.

The continuum has not been preserved by the same physical ruler.

It has been preserved only by moving to progressively faster subordinate recurrence structure.

That is precisely a recursive-boundary problem.

Therefore the singular extrapolation presents an R2D dichotomy:

\[|H|\to\infty\]

requires either

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=O(1)\]

and loss of continuum readability,

or

\[ f_c\to\infty\]

and loss of the fixed physical clock calibration.

In neither case does the same smooth physical projection remain unchanged all the way to the singularity.

This supplies the mathematical bridge sought in Addendum 66.

The continuum does not become primitive reality at its singular endpoint.

Its own count-resolution parameter announces the failure of the approximation first.

The central result is:

a continuum physical trajectory is readable only while many subordinate recurrent realizations occur within each macroscopic projected change. R2D quantifies this by \(\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\). When this count falls from \(\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\gg1\) to \(\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=O(1)\), the smooth field trajectory ceases to be a high-count approximation and becomes a sparsely realized multiplicity path. For any finite subordinate clock calibration, the fixed FLRW singular extrapolation necessarily crosses this discrete-resolution threshold before reaching zero area.

And hence:

sparse realization occurs before continuum singularity.

1. A Continuum Is a Read of Many Count Realizations

R2D does not take mathematical continuity as primitive.

A smooth physical trajectory represents recursively realized count change only when sufficiently many subordinate realizations occur below the physical resolution of the trajectory.

Thus:

many unresolved count steps → smooth physical read.

2. Continuity Is Therefore Resolution Relative

A trajectory can be continuous at one physical boundary while remaining discretely realized at a subordinate boundary.

There is no contradiction.

The enclosing boundary does not resolve every subordinate count step.

3. The Cosmological Continuum Must Obey the Same Rule

The FLRW trajectory

\[ a(t)\]

is a smooth physical read.

R2D therefore asks how many subordinate recurrent realizations support a distinguishable change in

\[ a\]

4. Begin With Clock-Relative Progress

Addendum 58 defined

\[\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}=\frac{d\ln a}{dN_C^{(c)}}\]

This quantity is dimensionless.

It exists before seconds are assigned to the subordinate recurrence.

5. It Measures Geometric Progress Per Subordinate Closure

If

\[|\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}|\ll1\]

then one subordinate closure changes the projected logarithmic cosmological scale only slightly.

Many closures are required for a macroscopic geometric change.

6. Define the Continuum-Resolution Parameter

Let

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\equiv|\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}|\]

This is the projected geometric change per subordinate recurrent realization.

7. Define the Continuum-Support Count

Its reciprocal is

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\equiv\frac1{\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}}=\left|\frac{dN_C^{(c)}}{d\ln a}\right|\]

8. Ncont Is a Count, Not a Density

It does not count objects per physical volume.

It counts realized subordinate recurrences per logarithmic physical-scale change.

Thus it remains consistent with the R2D distinction between primitive counting and downstream spatial density.

9. The Continuum Regime Is

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\gg1\]

Many subordinate realizations then contribute to one resolved geometric change.

10. Equivalently

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\ll1\]

The projected trajectory changes only slightly per subordinate count update.

11. The Sparse Realization Regime Begins When

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=O(1)\]

Now one order-one physical scale change is supported by only order-one subordinate recurrent closures.

12. Equivalently

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=O(1)\]

The physical trajectory can no longer hide its discrete realization behind a large-count average.

13. This Is Not Fundamental Sparsity

R2D does not say that only a few fundamental distinctions now exist.

The largest realized gear remains supported by an infinitude of fundamental distinctions.

The sparse quantity is the number of realized transitions participating in the specified projected interval.

14. Thus

sparse realization≠sparse primitive reality.

The distinction is essential.

15. Possible Multiplicity Also Remains Distinct

The possible multiplicity of macrostate i is

\[ W_{\zeta,i}\]

Nothing in

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\to O(1)\]

requires

\[ W_{\zeta,i} \to 1\]

16. Sparse Realization Concerns the Realized Path

The multiplicity landscape may remain large.

What fails is the assumption that the realized path through that landscape can be treated as continuously sampled over the physical interval of interest.

17. Return to the Discrete Cosmological Occurrence

For one cosmological transition class,

\[\chi : i \to k\]

define

\[\delta_{A,\chi}=\ln\frac{a_k}{a_i}\]

This is a finite physical geometric step.

18. The Recursive Throughput Ratio Is

\[\rho_{\zeta\mid\zeta-1,c}=\frac{N_\zeta^\chi}{N_C^{(c)}}\]

It counts enclosing cosmological occurrences per subordinate closure.

19. Their Product Gives Clock-Relative Progress

For the dominant coherent class,

\[\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}=\delta_{A,\chi}\rho_{\zeta\mid\zeta-1,c}\]

Therefore:

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=|\delta_{A,\chi}|\rho_{\zeta\mid\zeta-1,c}\]

20. Continuum Readability Requires the Product to Be Small

Even if the discrete geometric step

\[|\delta_{A,\chi}|\]

is not extremely small, sufficiently rare enclosing realization relative to subordinate recurrence can still give

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\ll1\]

Likewise, a very small step can remain smooth even with larger throughput.

The continuum criterion belongs to their product.

21. This Is Why the R2D Law Matters

The physical continuum is not controlled by geometric step size alone.

It is controlled by geometric change per recursive realization count.

The recurrence architecture cannot be removed from the continuum criterion.

22. A Large Number of Subordinate Closures Produces Smoothness

Since

\[\rho=\frac{N_\chi}{N_C}\]

small ρ means many subordinate closures occur per enclosing cosmological occurrence.

That provides high-count support for the enclosing physical trajectory.

23. A Sparse Regime Appears When Recursive Separation Is Lost

If

\[\rho\]

ceases to be small and the geometric step remains finite, then the enclosing physical trajectory is no longer separated from its subordinate recurrence by a large count hierarchy.

The smooth approximation loses recursive depth.

24. This Is a More Primitive Statement Than Spatial Granularity

No small spatial lattice has been introduced.

The continuum fails because count separation fails.

Space is downstream.

25. Physical Clock Calibration Makes the Criterion Observable

Addendum 58 gave

\[ f_c=\frac{dN_C^{(c)}}{dt}\]

Therefore:

\[ H=f_c\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}\]

26. Hence

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{|H|}{f_c},\qquad \mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{f_c}{|H|}\]

This is the same count-resolution criterion written in physical-rate coordinates.

27. The Continuum Condition Is Therefore

\[|H|\ll f_c\]

The enclosing cosmological scale changes slowly relative to the subordinate recurrence resolving it.

28. The Sparse Threshold Is

\[|H|\sim f_c\]

At this point an order-one cosmological logarithmic change occurs over only order-one subordinate clock cycles.

29. This Is Not a Universal Numerical Constant

The symbol

\[\sim\]

marks loss of scale separation.

R2D does not claim a universal coefficient of exactly one for every physical projection.

The invariant statement is the loss of the hierarchy

\[|H|/f_c\ll1\]

30. General Multi-Class Evolution Requires a Stronger Criterion

Suppose multiple transition classes contribute:

\[\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}=\sum_\chi\delta_{A,\chi}\frac{dN_\chi}{dN_C^{(c)}}\]

Oppositely oriented contributions can cancel in the net rate.

31. Net Smallness Alone Can Therefore Be Misleading

One may have

\[\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}\approx0\]

while large positive and negative discrete steps occur underneath.

A continuum-resolution criterion should not allow cancellation to hide unresolved discrete activity.

32. Define the Total-Variation Resolution Parameter

Let

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{res}}^{(c)}\equiv\sum_\chi|\delta_{A,\chi}|\frac{dN_\chi}{dN_C^{(c)}}\]

Then:

\[|\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}|\le\epsilon_{\mathrm{res}}^{(c)}\]

33. The General Continuum Condition Is

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{res}}^{(c)}\ll1\]

This requires the total discrete geometric variation per subordinate closure to remain small even before directional cancellation.

34. Define the General Resolution-Support Count

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{res}}^{(c)}\equiv\frac1{\epsilon_{\mathrm{res}}^{(c)}}\]

A well-resolved continuum requires

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{res}}^{(c)}\gg1\]

35. The Single-Class Monotonic Limit Recovers the Earlier Result

When one coherent transition class dominates,

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{res}}^{(c)}=\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=|\delta_{A,\chi}|\rho\]

Thus:

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{res}}^{(c)}=\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\]

36. This Is the R2D Analogue of a Continuum-Separation Parameter

Conventional continuum theories require microscopic structure to remain unresolved relative to the macroscopic variation scale.

R2D expresses the same necessity directly as a recurrence-count ratio.

The primitive statement is about realized distinctions, not molecules or spatial mean free paths.

37. Now Apply the Criterion to the FLRW Backward Extrapolation

Let one positive sector dominate:

\[ H^2=BA_\zeta^{-s},\qquad s>0\]

Then:

\[|H|=\sqrt B\,A_\zeta^{-s/2}\]

38. Suppose the Physical Clock Remains Finite

Let

\[ f_c\]

remain finite and nonzero over the same physical count domain.

Then:

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{\sqrt B}{f_c}A_\zeta^{-s/2}\]

39. Therefore

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{f_c}{\sqrt B}A_\zeta^{s/2}\]

40. For Every Positive Scaling Exponent

If

\[ s > 0\]

then

\[\lim_{A_\zeta\to0^+}\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=0\]

41. The Continuum Condition Must Therefore Fail First

Since

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\]

changes continuously from a large-count regime toward zero under the fixed scaling extrapolation, it must cross an order-one regime before reaching the formal singularity.

Thus:

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\gg1\to\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\sim1\to\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\ll1\]

before

\[ A_\zeta \to 0\]

42. This Is the Mathematical Signature Sought in Addendum 66

The continuum approximation fails when its own underlying count support ceases to be large.

The singular endpoint lies beyond that failure under a finite fixed clock calibration.

43. Radiation Gives the Cleanest Example

For radiation,

\[ s_r=2\]

Therefore:

\[|H|=\sqrt{B_r}\,A_\zeta^{-1}\]

And:

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{f_c}{\sqrt{B_r}}A_\zeta\]

44. Thus Radiation-Era Continuum Support Falls Linearly With Area

Under a fixed finite clock calibration,

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\propto A_\zeta\]

Backward area collapse therefore directly removes continuum count resolution.

45. Matter Gives

For pressureless matter,

\[ s_m=\frac32\]

Thus:

  1. 3/4

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\propto A_\zeta^{3/4}\]

It likewise tends to zero under fixed-clock backward extrapolation.

46. Every Positive-s Source Has the Same Qualitative Result

The exponent changes the rate of resolution loss.

It does not change the conclusion:

\[ s>0\Longrightarrow\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\to0\]

for finite fc as

\[ A \to 0\]

47. A Conditional Breakdown Area Can Be Defined

Let continuum readability fail at some order-one threshold

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{crit}}\]

Then:

\[\frac{\sqrt B}{f_c}A_{\mathrm{br}}^{-s/2}=\epsilon_{\mathrm{crit}}\]

Hence:

\[ A_{\mathrm{br}}=\left(\frac{\sqrt B}{\epsilon_{\mathrm{crit}}f_c}\right)^{2/s}\]

48. The Important Result Is Not the Numerical Coefficient

The exact physical threshold depends on the relevant projection and readability criterion.

The structural result is:

\[ f_c<\infty,\ s>0\Longrightarrow A_{\mathrm{br}}>0\]

A fixed finite clock implies a finite nonzero continuum-breakdown area.

49. This Is Not a Planck-Area Postulate

No value of

\[\ell_P\]

has entered the derivation.

The threshold follows from loss of count separation between enclosing geometric progress and subordinate recurrence.

50. But What If the Clock Frequency Also Diverges?

One may attempt to preserve

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\ll1\]

by allowing

\[ f_c\to\infty\]

as

\[ A \to 0\]

51. Then the Fixed Clock Has Not Survived

A clock is a physical recurrence calibration belonging to a boundary-defined count domain.

Driving its recurrence without bound is not continuation of a fixed finite physical ruler.

It demands progressively deeper or replaced recurrence structure.

52. Thus the Singularity Presents a Dichotomy

To maintain

\[ H \to \infty\]

one must have either:

\[|H|/f_c\to O(1)\]

so that continuum resolution fails,

or:

\[ f_c\to\infty\]

so that the fixed clock calibration fails.

53. Symbolically

[Archive box damaged: a diverging projected rate requires either loss of continuum resolution or replacement of the clock calibration. Author review required.]

This is the central mathematical obstruction to an unchanged continuum path reaching the singular endpoint.

54. The Same Projection Cannot Remain Both Fixed and Infinitely Resolved

A fixed projection requires stable boundary ownership of its geometric and clock coordinates.

Infinite replacement of the recurrence ruler violates that assumption.

Thus one cannot rescue the singular continuum merely by silently changing the clock that resolves it.

55. Boundary Replacement Is Therefore Not an Optional Interpretation

Once the physical field loses large-count support, either the model stops or the count domain must be changed.

R2D supplies the second possibility:

old continuum projection → loss of count resolution → boundary replacement → new projection.

56. What Appears Beneath the Continuum Is a Multiplicity Landscape

The pre-continuum R2D description is not a smaller smooth spacetime.

It is a boundary-defined multiplicity structure:

\[\pi_n:\Omega_n\to\mathcal M_n\]

Macrostates remain discrete count distinctions.

57. The Realized Path Through That Landscape Is Sparse Relative to the Old Field Coordinate

Once only order-one realized occurrences support a continuum-scale interval, the old differential field no longer represents a densely sampled path.

The physical read resolves the multiplicity steps themselves.

58. This Is the Sparse-Atmosphere Limit

The appropriate image is not a continuous substance becoming infinitely compressed.

It is a continuous field description losing support until the realized path is better represented as separated count occurrences within a multiplicity landscape.

Thus:

continuum atmosphere → sparse realized multiplicity landscape.

59. “Sparse” Does Not Mean Low Physical Density

This is especially important in cosmology.

The conventional physical density may simultaneously satisfy

\[\epsilon \to \infty\]

Thus:

infinite projected density

can coexist with

sparse count realization relative to the continuum coordinate.

They refer to different layers.

60. This Resolves the Apparent Paradox

The Big-Bang extrapolation says the physical state becomes infinitely dense.

R2D says the continuum description simultaneously becomes inadequately count resolved.

There is no contradiction.

Physical density is a downstream source/support quotient.

Sparse realization is an upstream statement about how many discrete recurrent events support one continuum-scale change.

61. The Continuum Singularity Is Therefore a Resolution Catastrophe

The mathematical divergence does not reveal infinite primitive substance.

It signals that a smooth downstream variable is being driven faster than its supporting recurrent count structure can continue to resolve it.

62. The Same Architecture Applies to Navier–Stokes

A continuum fluid field also represents many unresolved subordinate occurrences.

Its continuum validity requires strong separation between local discrete realization and resolved field variation.

When that separation is lost, the field description reaches a count-resolution limit.

63. The R2D Common Structure Is

many subordinate realizations per field change

↓

continuum field.

As scale separation collapses:

order-one realizations per field change

↓

sparse multiplicity landscape.

64. Thus Navier–Stokes and FLRW Share a Deeper Failure Mode

The equations themselves are not being identified.

Their singular limits reveal the same projection architecture:

continuum law → loss of count resolution → projection failure.

65. The Relevant “Discreteness” Is Boundary Defined

R2D therefore does not predict tiny hard spatial atoms.

The discrete objects are distinguishable states, occurrences, and closures defined relative to count boundaries.

Their later projection may appear spatial.

66. This Avoids Reintroducing Primitive Spacetime

If the continuum failed because space were composed of little spatial pixels, spacetime would again be primitive.

R2D instead places discreteness in recursive distinguishability.

Physical spatial granularity, if observed, would itself require projection from that prior count structure.

67. Principle — Continuum Readability Requires Large Count Support

For an admissible subordinate recurrence class c,

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\left|\frac{dN_C^{(c)}}{d\ln a}\right|\gg1\]

is the single-class continuum condition.

68. Principle — Sparse Realization Begins at Loss of Count Separation

When

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=O(1)\]

the old physical trajectory is no longer a high-count continuum approximation.

69. Principle — The Equivalent Rate Criterion Is

\[|H|\ll f_c\]

for continuum readability.

Loss of this inequality is the physical-rate signature of discrete-resolution breakdown.

70. Principle — General Continuum Validity Requires Small Total Discrete Variation

For multiple transition classes,

\[\epsilon_{\mathrm{res}}^{(c)}=\sum_\chi|\delta_{A,\chi}|\frac{dN_\chi}{dN_C^{(c)}}\ll1\]

This prevents cancellation from disguising large unresolved discrete steps.

71. Principle — Fixed Positive-Scaling FLRW Evolution Loses Continuum Resolution Toward Zero Area

For

\[ H^2=BA^{-s},\quad s>0\]

and finite fc ,

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\propto A^{s/2}\to0\]

Therefore continuum breakdown precedes the formal singularity.

72. Principle — Divergent Clock Calibration Is Itself Boundary Failure

If

\[ f_c\to\infty\]

is required to preserve continuum resolution, then the original finite clock calibration has ceased to define the same physical read.

Thus the alternative to sparse realization is clock/boundary replacement, not preservation of an unchanged continuum.

73. Principle — Infinite Physical Density Can Coexist With Sparse Realization

Because physical density and count-resolution support are different quantities,

\[\epsilon\to \infty\]

does not imply

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\to\infty\]

Under fixed-clock FLRW scaling, the opposite occurs:

\[\epsilon\to\infty,\quad\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\to0\]

74. This Is the R2D Inversion of the Singular Limit

Conventional reading:

increasing density → more fundamental concentration.

R2D:

increasing projected density → decreasing continuum count resolution.

At the limit, the smooth projection fails and the discrete boundary-defined multiplicity structure becomes the appropriate description.

75. Logical Status

Canonical R2D

Physical continua are downstream reads of boundary-defined distinguishable occurrence and recurrence.

Not Established Here

This addendum does not yet establish:

• the exact numerical threshold at which a particular physical continuum loses predictive validity; • the identity of the replacement cosmological boundary; • the detailed multiplicity structure of that replacement; • a minimum spatial length; • a Planck-scale cutoff; • a bounce; • or the complete ultraviolet physical projection.

It establishes the dimensionless count-resolution criterion that any such replacement must satisfy.

76. The Complete Continuum-Breakdown Sequence

Recursive realization produces subordinate closure:

\[ N_C^{(c)}\]

Those closures realize enclosing cosmological occurrences:

Nχζ .

Each enclosing occurrence carries a physical geometric step:

\[\delta_{A,\chi}\]

Many subordinate closures per resolved geometric interval give:

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\gg1\]

The physical path appears continuous:

\[ a(t)\]

Backward fixed-projection scaling increases the cosmological rate:

\[|H|\uparrow\]

For finite subordinate clock recurrence:

\[|H|/f_c\uparrow\]

Thus:

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\downarrow\]

Eventually:

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\sim1\]

The physical continuum loses count resolution:

smooth trajectory → sparse realized path.

The appropriate description returns to:

\[\pi_n:\Omega_n\to\mathcal M_n\]

The old continuum projection must then be replaced or abandoned.

Only its mathematical continuation proceeds toward the formal singularity.

77. Conclusion

The central problem left by Addendum 66 was not whether the FLRW singularity is the primitive beginning.

R2D denies that ontology.

The remaining problem was to identify the mathematical signature by which the continuum cosmological projection announces its own loss of recursive readability.

That signature already exists in the R2D rate construction.

Clock-relative cosmological progress is

\[\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}=\frac{d\ln a}{dN_C^{(c)}}\]

This quantity measures projected cosmological change per subordinate recurrence.

A smooth physical trajectory requires that change to be small:

\[|\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}|\ll1\]

Equivalently, one macroscopic logarithmic change of cosmological scale must contain many subordinate recurrent realizations:

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\left|\frac{dN_C^{(c)}}{d\ln a}\right|\gg1\]

This is the count architecture beneath the continuum.

For a dominant coherent occurrence class,

\[\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}=\delta_{A,\chi}\rho_{\zeta\mid\zeta-1,c}\]

After physical clock calibration,

\[ H=f_c\mathcal H_{\zeta\mid c}\]

Thus:

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{f_c}{|H|}\]

Now apply the fixed FLRW backward scaling:

\[ H^2=BA_\zeta^{-s},\qquad s>0\]

For any finite subordinate clock calibration,

\[\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}=\frac{f_c}{\sqrt B}A_\zeta^{s/2}\]

Therefore:

\[ A_\zeta\to0\quad\Longrightarrow\quad\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\to0\]

The continuum cannot remain a high-count approximation all the way to the formal singularity.

It necessarily crosses an order-one count-resolution threshold first.

If one attempts to preserve the continuum by letting

\[ f_c\to\infty\]

then the fixed physical clock calibration has instead failed and the recurrence ruler must itself be replaced.

Thus the same conclusion follows by either route.

The unchanged continuum projection does not reach the singular endpoint while retaining its original recursive meaning.

What lies beneath the failed continuum is not an infinitely compressed primitive spacetime.

It is the boundary-defined count architecture that was present before spacetime was projected at all.

Its relevant physical appearance near continuum failure is a sparsely realized multiplicity landscape:

possible multiplicity remains

while

only order-one realized count steps support each formerly smooth field interval.

This explains how conventional physical density can diverge while continuum count support becomes sparse.

The two are not opposites because they are not the same quantity.

Physical density is a downstream source/support ratio.

Sparse realization is a statement about the count resolution beneath that physical field.

The same architecture applies to cosmology and to continuum fluid singularities.

In each case:

many subordinate realizations → smooth continuum

but

loss of count separation → sparse realized multiplicity landscape → projection replacement.

The central statement is therefore:

a continuum physical law is readable only while each resolved field change is realized by many subordinate count recurrences. R2D measures that separation by the reciprocal pair \(\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\) and \(\epsilon_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\). Under any fixed finite clock calibration, the FLRW backward extrapolation drives \(\mathcal N_{\mathrm{cont}}^{(c)}\) from a large-count continuum regime to an order-one sparse-realization regime before zero area is reached. The singularity therefore lies beyond the count-resolution domain of the continuum projection, where the appropriate description is again a boundary-defined multiplicity landscape rather than an infinitely > compressed spacetime.

And hence:

sparse realization occurs before continuum singularity.
